I asked Adano Ley (Swami Nitty-Gritty), “What does magnesium do in the body?”

“What does it do outside the body?” he asked me back.

Adano’s answer was an epiphany for me, and allowed me to stay ahead of other nutritionists – holistic or otherwise – for decades.

Magnesium (chemical symbol Mg), is atomic element number 12 of the Periodic Table, one of the “twelve basic minerals” of Adano’s Solar Nutrition Two workshop.

Emanuel Revici, M.D., classified magnesium as a catabolic element hierarchically associated with the connective tissue level of the body and the Third Period of the Periodic Table of the Elements.

This is the pluricellular and pericellular level of interstitial “metazoic” formations.

Calcium is strongly catabolic at the cellular level, while magnesium is catabolic at the tissular levels.

Calcium migrated into the cells of our body while we were still stuck in the clay and the mud of the earth.

Magnesium migrated into the tissues of our body after we migrated into the sea, gifting us with mobility for the first time in history.

Magnesium becomes anabolic when it operates in the cellular compartment, which is hierarchically inferior to its own level on the Periodic Table.

Magnesium, also known as the “anti-stress mineral,” is a third period quieter alkaline earth metal that’s chemically active, and it’s widely used to reduce other metals from their salts and oxides.

Powdered magnesium (in a pure oxygen atmosphere) burns in a flashbulb to produce intense white light, and it’s also used in signals, flares, fireworks, and incendiary bombs.

Magnesium will even burn underwater or in carbon dioxide.

Magnesium is alloyed with other metals for lightness and strength.

The intermetallic compound magnesium diboride superconducts below 40 kelvins.

One cubic mile of seawater contains about twelve billion pounds of magnesium.

Chlorophyll is a magnesium-centered porphyrin.

Magnesium is “The Lone Ranger” of photosynthesis.

One chlorophyll molecule is composed of 55 carbon atoms, 72 hydrogen atoms, 4 nitrogen atoms, and a solitary magnesium atom.

Milk of magnesia (magnesium hydroxide suspended in water) is used as a laxative and antacid.

Epsom salts (hydrated magnesium sulfate) are used externally to treat skin rashes and internally as a cathartic and to treat hypomagnesemic seizures.

Epsom salts are also used as a mineral supplement in food.

Why pay for expensive transdermal magnesium products when you can just add some inexpensive Epsom salts to a tub of water and soak for a while?

And why buy MSM when your skin will absorb the sulfur from Epsom salts too?

Magnesium silicate is used as an anticaking agent in table salt – even though it’s been linked to kidney damage.

Magnesium oxide is commonly used as a mineral supplement – even though it’s poorly absorbed and has caused tumors in hamsters.

Magnesium carbonate and sulfate are even less absorbable than magnesium oxide.

Amino-chelated magnesium is one of the most absorbable and well tolerated magnesium supplement.

Magnesium hydroxide, an additive used in the canning of peas, soothes irritated skin.

Magnesium aspartate combined with creatine assists muscle protein synthesis by decreasing extracellular water and increasing intracellular water.

More than 99 percent of our body’s magnesium is found inside the cell, more than 60 percent of it in bone cells.

Low albumin levels decrease the quantity of circulating magnesium.

Moisture increases potassium and lowers magnesium.

Magnesium is the second most predominant cation (positive ion) of human cells, and it releases muscle energy by activating enzymes that speed up reactions between phosphate ions and ATP.

It removes excess ammonia from the body, binds calcium to tooth enamel, protects against heart disease and kidney stones, and increases the solubility of calcium in urine.

Chronic kidney disease often causes excessive magnesium retention.

Magnesium relaxes nerve cells, and calcium stimulates them.

Magnesium induces deep sleep, while calcium immediately reverses magnesium-induced sleep (contrary to widespread disinformation).

Magnesium and aldosterone are inversely related.

Vitamin D elevates magnesium levels.

Low blood levels of magnesium can precipitate convulsions or an asthma attack.

Magnesium deficiency can cause high blood pressure and heart disease.

Magnesium is an insulin potentiator.

Diabetics tend to be low in magnesium, zinc, and chromium, making them susceptible to diabetic retinopathy.

Researchers intravenously administer magnesium sulfate during a heart attack to prevent arrhythmia.

Dr. Emanuel Revici discovered this decades ago, using a combination of magnesium and sulfur (magnesium sulfate parenterally or magnesium thiosulfate orally) because both are third period elements on the Periodic Table, and are hierarchically associated with the connective tissue level of the body.

According to Dr. Revici, cancer cells have …

(1) a qualitative and persistent excess of potassium (as much as 60 percent, along with an equivalent excess in red blood cells and a deficiency in blood serum),

(2) a qualitative and persistent deficiency of calcium (as much as 44 percent, along with a high urinary calcium index),

(3) a qualitative and persistent deficiency of copper and catalase (along with a deficiency of both in liver cells and an excess in blood serum),

(4) a qualitative and persistent deficiency of magnesium (inhibiting the nonspecific properdin defense system),

(5) a qualitative and persistent deficiency of manganese, and so forth.

Magnesium is basically a Zone Two element, and, according to Adano, YELLOW and GREEN make up its dual color spectral predominance.

Colonel Dinshah P. Ghadiali lists it as yellow alone in his Attuned Color Wave system.

Adano said …

“Iron and magnesium exchange in the heart. More magnesium is in arterial blood, and more iron is in venous blood.”

.. and …

“Magnesium is in the posterior portion of the pituitary, and iron is in the anterior portion.”

… and …

“An Eskimo’s yellow liver lacks magnesium. A Masai’s yellow liver lacks iron.”

… and …

“Eat almonds and black walnuts for calcium and magnesium. Sardines and pineapple are also good sources.”

… and …

“Take magnesium to be a big shot.”

    Hi Atom
You say in one of your blogs that
Infrared is advertised as “helping” the production of vitamin D, but – IF YOU KNOW HOW – you can make your own vitamin D while comfortably detoxifying in an infrared sauna
how do you make your own vitamin D in the infrared sauna?
and how much Epsom salt do you need for bathing and for how long
    Many Thanks

The process is so time-intensive it’s not worth doing. It involves prolonged rubbing all over the body.

It’s much easier to get your vitamin D from the Sun.

For best results to absorb magnesium and sulfur from Epsom salts, a ten-minute soak on a long-term basis is necessary.

A single soak does almost nothing.

However, food is the best source of both magnesium and sulfur, and very few people have deficiencies, despite what many “health food” gurus are claiming.

Any food containing chlorophyll is a source of magnesium, and any cruciferous vegetable (broccoli, cabbage, turnip, etc.) is rich in sulfur.

Wondering if Adano ever spoke of Walter Bowman Russell (May 19, 1871 – May 19, 1963) his view on periodic table and science in general?

    Good post, as usual :)

    Thanks

It seems to me that Swami Nitty-Gritty mentioned Walter Russell, and I choose to remember the context.

I thumbed through The Man Who Tapped the Secrets of the Universe when I managed the Phoenix Metaphysical Book Store (in Houston), but I never got around to reading it.

Better late than ever. Thanks for the info. :)

I’ve already discovered this gem …

“Most sculptors make the mistake of thinking of eyes as form and they therefore make them as spherical surfaces. Eyes are not form, they are transparent, and what one really sees is the light of the soul in them – and that is what I try to give them. Until a sculptor is able to see the soul through the eyes his portrait is merely a portrait of flesh and blood.”

Walter Russell and his wife Lao wrote the book Atomic Suicide? (1957) as a warning against the misuse of nuclear power through the proliferation of nuclear power plants.

“Light cannot be seen, it can only be known. Light is still. The sense of sight cannot respond to stillness. That which the eyes “feel” and believe to be Light is but wave motion simulating the idea of Light. Like all things else in this electric wave universe the idea of Light cannot be produced. Electric waves simulate idea only. They do not become idea.” – Walter Russell

It’s an understatement to say I’m enjoying Walter Russell’s book. :)

John T. Nordberg is as unacknowledged as Walter Russell …

      http://www.grandunification.com/

      According to Mr. Nordberg …

“Time is a specific, constant quality of motion that we use to measure all other motions, and should be defined to be what is now called the speed of light.”

Check out his numerous YouTube videos too.

By the way, Adano Ley (Swami Nitty-Gritty) was technically a Dark Worker, not a Light Worker.

      (1) A Light Worker focuses on Ascension and “getting off the Wheel of 84.”

      (2) A Dark Worker focuses on Physical Immortality and the mastery of this “Ouch!” level of existence.

      (1) A Light Worker centers on the Gold, Silver, Indigo, Violet, and White levels of reality.

      (2) A Dark Worker centers on the Black, Gray, Brown, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Pink levels of reality.

      (1) A Light Worker is restricted by the event horizon of a Black Hole.

      (1) A Dark Worker is not cowed by a Black Hole. Neither is a radio telescope compared with its optical counterparts.

      According to Adano …

“Darkness is the reserve reservoir of all potential forces in a state of suspension.”

“Darkness is the savings account. Light is the checking account. Darkness is the reserve reservoir of all potential forces in a state of suspension. Before the spark of the bullet, a click must be heard. Talking to oneself triggers off energy.”

“Light is diluted darkness. Which travels faster, light or darkness? When you turn on the light, where does the darkness go? It moves away faster than the light. It travels faster than light. Light travels at 186,000 miles per second, but darkness goes at least 187,000 miles per second.”

“If you dilute black, you’ll get colors. Darkness is concentrated black.”
