Adano Ley (Swami Nitty-Gritty) advised me to study what atomic elements and molecules do OUTSIDE the body to learn what they do INSIDE.

His insight has allowed me to stay years ahead of the “latest” supplements. :)

Regarding selenium, according to “Addition of Selenium Improves Lubricating Oil,” Science News Letter, Feb. 10, 1945 …

“The selenium compounds impart many desirable features to the oil, including the ability to resist its tendency to oxidize and form sludge and gunk resins in the engine. A film of selenium-treated oil will support increased pressure between surfaces.”

Here’s some things Adano said about selenium …

“Use selenium to stabilize silver, like in photography.”

… and …

“Copper, selenium, and antimony, in that order, are necessary for maintaining balance in the bones for flexibility and proper bonding effect.”

… and …

“Selenium is knocked out by epileptic seizures. Pork eaters tend to become epileptic. Beets help the liver, which is responsible for epileptic pressure.”

… and …

“Eat matzo-ball soup to trigger the selenium process to grow hair. For hair growth, make a cream from hazelnuts, coconut, avocado, and zinc. Hazelnut contains the selenium.”

… and …

“Cockroaches contain a superior form of selenium.”

(One of my friends microwaved a cockroach and ate it. Unfortunately, it had previously visited a Roach Motel.)

… and …

“Selenium gives you consistency and allows you to be yourself. It speeds up reactions. Conflict between you and the other party will cause a selenium drop.”

… and …

“Selenium is the core of vitamin E. The ‘E’ stands for ‘energy’ and ’emission.'”

(Vitamin E and selenium can be regulated by Reflexology. Massage the little finger and the “Crystalline Zone” on the left side to “speed them up,” and the same on the right side to “slow them down.”)

… and …

“Take selenium for shingles.”

Selenium toxicity and selenosis can occur when taking 400 to 800 micrograms of selenium per day.

A rose may be a rose may be a rose but selenium variants can’t be confined to a rule.

Emanuel Revici, M.D., treated certain cellular cancers – associated with the Fourth Period of the Periodic Table of the Elements – with ONE GRAM of selenium.

Dr. Revici knew how to tame the savage beast by using novel forms of selenium, e.g., hexyldiselenide, heptyldiselenide, tetraline perselenide, napthalene perselenide, etc.

DON’T TRY IT AT HOME.

Ralph W. Moss, Ph.D. (Cancer Therapy: The Independent Consumer’s Guide to Non-Toxic Treatment and Prevention, 1992, 1996) wrote …

“Scientists sometimes have short memories. In a 1980 review, for example, one doctor seriously stated that no human experiments with selenium had ever been performed. Yet at that time, Dr. Revici had been using organic selenium in his practice for about four decades and had published a medical textbook describing such work (Research in Physiopathology as Basis of Guided Chemotherapy, with Special Application to Cancer, Princeton: D. Van Nostrand and Company, Inc., 1961.”

The above is a classic case of MEDICAL AMNESIA.

Furthermore, D. Van Nostrand printed 50,000 copies, and the Powers That Be ordered 40,000 of them to be destroyed.

The entire Periodic Table and its practical relationship to high-level wellness is covered in my out-of-print book Cosmochemistry & the Periodic Table of the Elements from A to Z.

Fortunately, the Periodic Table and its practical relationship to high-level wellnessis covered even more extensively in the four volumes of my Butterflies Need No Taxidermist. :)

You can order all four volumes at wellness-wagon.com

    Hi
Is there any truth in the idea you should not take selenium if you have amalgam fillings – what is the best way source of selenium.
    Thanks

Not to worry. Fish have been using selenium for millions of years to protect against inorganic mercury, turning it into water-soluble mercury selenide.

FOOD sources of selenium IN TIME are ideal.

Zone One – walnuts, Brazil nuts. (*)

Zone Two – brewer’s yeast, wheat germ, brown rice.

Zone Three – fish, eggs, mushrooms, garlic.

(*) One or two Brazil nuts because of their natural radium.

A completely valid list of selenium foods isn’t possible because selenium isn’t necessary for the vast majority of vegetation. Selenium uptake depends on soil content.

Cattle die from excess selenium in the soil in North Dakota and die from deficient selenium in Missouri, so cattle feed from both locations is mixed together and sent back to both locations for healthy livestock.

    Re: space alien messages.

    Neuroglycopenia?

Adano consigned the vast majority of channeling and possession to a combination of …

    (1) self-hypnotism,

    (2) a lack of self-importance, and

    (3) an imbalance in the Spleen-Pancreas Meridian resulting in low blood sugar from the trauma of “not being appreciated.”

Adano referred to possession as a “negative force field around the spleen,” and to a channeled entity as an “electron fixation of the human mind.”

He warned he would “flush any discarnate spirit down the toilet” if they came anywhere near him,” AND I WAS A WITNESS TO HIM ACTUALLY DOING IT.

Carl Jung referred to mediumship as “feeling-toned complexes” and the “autonomous activity of the unconscious.”

Before taking another teaspoon from the bottle of trace minerals you bought at the “health food” store, keep in mind trace minerals, especially the ALKALINE ones, are instigators of aging and DNA/RNA errors.

Joan Arehart-Treichel (“Probing the Aging Process: GRC scientists are seeking not the Fountain of Youth but ways of helping us all live to a healthy old age,” Science News, Jan. 8, 1977) wrote …

“First, they [Gunther Eichhorn and his colleagues] have found that the content of trace minerals in cells changes with aging, mostly increasing, thus suggesting that trace metals may be a vital factor in whether cells live out their genetically programmed lifespans or not. Second, they have found that metal ions can sabotage the transcription of DNA into RNA. (For example, platinum complexes can hook onto a DNA molecule and keep RNA from copying a correct message from it.) They can also alter the specificity of enzymes that act on DNA, produce cross-links between DNA chains, or even degrade RNA. (The ions, however, do not appear capable of degrading DNA, which has led to the postulate that DNA may have been chosen over RNA as the primary bearer of genetic information because DNA is not susceptible to metal ions.) Finally, the researchers point out that metal ions can mess up the transcription of RNA into proteins in unforgivable ways.”

Any chef will tell you the LIFE FORCE is in the ACID antioxidant fraction of food, not in the ALKALINE oxidant residue.

That’s why lids come with pots.

ACID is the accelerator. ALKALINE is the brakes. Both are necessary. :)

Re: “Eat matzo-ball soup to trigger the selenium process to grow hair”

Is the trigger in the matzo-ball, or in the chicken soup, or both?

I’m glad you asked because not all matzo-ball soups follow the traditional recipe.

The selenium is in 3 things …

      (1) the chicken fat,

      (2) the eggs, and

      (3) the unleavened matzo meal.

    Re: more and more minerals.

I think we need minerals too. I get mine from earth salts, mostly from roots.

I usually follow Jack LaLanne’s advice: “If man made it, don’t eat it. If it tastes good, spit it out.”

One of my pet peeves is making acid the bad guy and alkaline the good guy.

    They’re a TEAM. Anabolic + Catabolic = Metabolic. :)

Too much acid = grow cancer. Too much alkali = metastasize cancer.
