“Man has disturbed his relationship with food through agriculture.”- Ted Slanker
Ted Slanker knows a thing or two about the balance between Omega 3′s and 6′s in the diet. He gave us the low down and it all makes perfect sense….to us. But then, of course, it’s no secret that we’re meat eaters here at One Radio Network. The ratio between the 3′s and 6′s should be 1:1. It’s when the Omega 6′s takeover and the ratio exceeds 4:1, the body goes into failure. Diets based on grains throw the body off balance. Diets based on grass fed animal foods bring the body back into balance. So the cows eat the greens and we eat the cows…with a spinach salad on the side. And make that steak rare please, as it offers more nutrition. Enjoy the show and hear how you can be tested at home for your Omega 3 and 6 ratio.

Too short! I loved Ted’s previous talk so couldn’t wait to hear this one. To live off of meat… amazing idea. (Good survival notion, too!)
I’ve been looking into health for years but no one’s brought the Omega 3 to 6 issue to my attention in this way before. I just took my first flaxseed oil… Can’t wait to see how it works out. And i’m gonna stop eating nuts in the morning for a while, too.
I’d like to stress a caveat i have with his [and Aajonus Vonderplanitz'] argument that one just doesn’t find fruit in the wild: we are an ape-hollow earth species hybrid and in Hollow Earth there’s a lot more fruit and year-round.
It doesn’t make less of Ted’s information, i’m just saying.
