I am occasionally asked what I would do if I got cancer and especially when I tell people I sunbathe without sun blockers. I often wonder, as I know experienced natural health practitioners who when it comes to the crunch, capitulate and to some degree listen to and receive treatment from medical cancer doctors.

If I were diagnosed with cancer, would I go the natural route? I have seen the evidence for natural health and I know how well these treatments work but if it was me or my family…then I can understand how hard it is not to do what the medical establishment tells you.

So what would I do?

To begin with I am convinced I cannot get cancer. Even though my father died of cancer I am a fervent believer that cancer is caused by diet and lack of minerals in the diet. Of course toxins can trigger cancer but the diet and minerals almost certainly need to be wrong first.

I follow an anti-cancer diet (mostly) consuming 8-14 portions of vegetables and low sugar fruits daily. OK I had a paella rice dish last night but that was only the second time this year. 99% of the time it is no starchy carbs and no high sugar foods. Sugar feeds cancer cells.

I purposely breathe from my diaphragm (especially working on a computer every day) to flood my body with oxygen and clear carbon dioxide from the blood. Oxygen is the enemy of cancer cells.

I include selenium and iodine supplements in my supplement plan every day, which, according to studies will help prevent most cancers.

I purposely de-stress myself and keep my body relaxed even though I may work up to 16 hours in a day and have to deal with the frustration of the Internet and websites going wrong. Relaxation is very, very, important. A five mile walk (8km) is a good way if you do not know any relaxation techniques.

Lastly and possibly every day, I take the most powerful cancer prevention and/or treatment…curcumin. Curcumin not only deals with the cancer cells but also ensures our healthy cells do not get invaded.

So if I got cancer after all of this, I hear you say?

I would increase the amount of Curcumin in my supplements and go to doctors who I know that offer Intravenous Ozone Therapy.

I stake my life on this plan above and have no hesitation in recommending it.
