Canning Authority

In these tough economic times, canning and preserving food is a lost art that is reemerging. When you see a sale at the grocery store, you need to be able to take advantage of it without utilizing a means (the freezer) that can either quit on you or be something that requires electricity if getting off the grid is your goal. You need to be able to take that game you bag and preserve it for future use. Hanne Moon talks with us and shares her techniques on canning and preserving food.
