Hoping to hear Andy’s thoughts on these 2 general points some time:

    1) banks’ bailout since 2008 – taxpayer gain or loss?
    https://projects.propublica.org/bailout/
suggests gain, but are the ‘profits’ in today’s dollars worth the same as the dollars in 2008? And what about the instability introduced into the system by FED purchasing compromised securities with new magic money – any provisioning?

    2) “Is the United States officially bankrupt?
    Yes, without question.”
    TRWoM p.59
But states/countries are sovereign entities under international law so not subject to jurisdiction of other states except as they may submit by treaty. And treaties can be repudiated by sovereign states (ignoring for the moment any practical consequences).
What countries have recognised US Corp. as a state under international law?

    Questions, questions :)
