Atom’s journey towards health, nutrition, longevity, and meditation goes back to 1955, when he first started reading books by D.C. Jarvis, J.I. Rodale, Carlton Fredericks, Adelle Davis, Aldous Huxley, Paramahansa Yogananda, Swami Prabhavananda, and numerous others. His exposure to the above mentioned authors instigated a deep desire and passion to understand and unlock the secrets to optimal human wellness and longevity.
Atom was inspired by the words of Thomas Jefferson: “School teaches all of the branches, but none of the roots.” He sought the answers to his questions, not in classrooms, but in books, relationships, and life experiences. His quest for true knowledge and wisdom began by studying in hundreds of libraries across the country and evolved by studying with teachers and masters including Swami Adano Ley, Sufi Adnan Sarhan, Rabbi Michael Shapiro, Taoist Master Yun Xiang Tseng, and Fitness Icon Gypsy Boots.
His most significant teacher was Swami Adano Ley with whom he spent 14 years. During this time, he studied a variety of sciences extensively, including the sun centric lifestyle, and ultimately graduated from Adano Ley’s Texas Institute of Reflex Sciences. The knowledge and wisdom he gained studying under a highly evolved swami combined with his emphasis on scientific research & personal experience would soon become the heartbeat of Sun Sync Nutrition.
For the past 40 years, Atom has dedicated his life to the continuous learning and teaching of Sun Sync Nutrition, Time Conscious Eating, Cosmo-Chemistry, Reflexology, Muscle Response Testing, Body Language Analysis, Iris Analysis, Lucid Dreaming, Meditation and many other sciences.
-What to do for heartburn? Pita is 2 parts fire and 1 part water. Bile balances out acid. Connection between heart fire and the cardiac valve. Acid is the least of the problem. Usually it’s a mechanical problem or an ear or eye problem. Coughing drives acid into the esophagus. If tongue is red and irritated, the body is too alkaline.

-Listener developed floaters in left eye after a head trauma. Instead of looking forward, adjust by putting consciousness in the middle of the head or back and look with soft eyes. Need to release the pressure that was knocked in by doing yawning, stretching, yoga, color recycling, free form dancing. What time did the trauma occur – indicates what order to clear organs. Avoid serotonin, estrogen.
-Sauna activates thyroid.
-Look at someone’s forehead to know if they’re telling the truth.
-Body dowsing tells show up in the eyes, check, lips, and head turn.
-What about skipping breakfast and dinner and just eating a big lunch? Vata foods are digested best in the morning, pita foods in middle of day, kapha foods at night. It’s not just pita, it’s all 5 elements involved in digestion. Most digestible meal is breakfast because it’s mostly fructose. Can digest a higher volume of food at lunch. Incompletely burned carbon (i.e. soot) is the biggest problem.
-Estrogen determines the male sex, and develops the womb for pregnancy. After birth, estrogen develops cancer. After menopause, need progesterone and testosterone, not estrogen. Pine pollen in the AM is good.
-Listener has Kennedy disease with muscle weakness from motor neurons dying. Atom says to put attention to the muscle and practice moving.

-Adano Ley could shapeshift.
-People tend to breathe too fast. Buteyko advocates slow breathing to balance carbon dioxide; the oxygen gets driven into the right place and doesn’t oxidize. Want CO2 in the brain and O2 in the colon. Allergic reaction and shock will disappear by eating 5 tsp. sugar, which increases CO2.
-Carol asks what is the benefit of shining red light on the bottom of the feet? The more tender the space, the more benefit from right light. Getting red light without sunlight can be counterproductive. Need at least 20 minutes outdoors to balance red light.
-Paida lajing to help the stomach: Do reflexes along the stomach meridian and rub under the eyes. Rub the index toe. If annoyed, don’t eat until it’s released. Do something to laugh.
-Baby spit indicates GERD. Don’t feed solid food too early. Breast milk best, then donkey milk.
Gingseng is super kapha. The older the better.
-Joe has issues with joints. Atom recommends butter or clarified butter at every meal. Butter oil is best. Eat silica foods, e.g. bamboo shoots. Grains can cause problems, too much phosphate, better if sprouted. Cook kale and drink the pot liquor to neutralize grains. Fruits are best raw – e.g. mango, kiwi, tomatoes. Those are good fiber sources – designed with fibers to match the plant. Collagen good. Deal with emotional trauma. What color comes to mind? Remember the good things about a person instead of thinking of what you’re missing. Write a letter to the deceased person.
-Speeding up the metabolism is good. Worse thing you can do is going in and out of air conditioning – develops arteriosclerosis.
-Coconut oil – pure virgin vs. processed. If pure, open up the jar and smell it. If you smell it, it’s not pure coconut oil, it’s the coconut carbohydrate that has the odor and is what people are allergic too. Atom recommends extra virgin organic.
-The attraction of Montecito, CA weather has drawn in Atom and many movie stars.
-Woman has lost her sense of smell after 1 year of platinum based chemotherapy. Atom recommends to acidify herself. Don’t take DHA, fish oil, or high serotonin or nitric oxide foods. Don’t eat bananas, don’t take SSRIs. Eat saturated fats, be careful with carbs. Meridian timing recommendations.
-Listener took 1 cup of castor oil to release a kidney stone. Sent in a photo of the stone.
-How to get benefit from red LED lights? Depends on their frequency. Chicken brooding lights better and in ORN store.
-Maggie wants to know about liposomal Vitamin C. Atom gets his Vitamin C from potatoes, is in the dehydro antioxidant form. Food source is best. He doesn’t like ascorbic acid. If corn based, take midday. If cassava, take night time.
-Trent has concerns about radiation exposure from many scans. Radiation is enhanced by serotonin, DHA, PUFAs, estrogen. Sugar and cholesterol is the remedy for shock. Keep the thyroid up to snuff, but not with Synthroid.
-Serotonin and endorphins cause a lot of disease.
-Bananas are usually irradiated. 1 in 40,000 atoms are radioactive. Melatonin wipes up the serotonin – take some before and take the whole bottle if exposed to radiation.
-Best time to eat dairy products – Red light is better at night, best at stomach time – 6-9 am solar time for wound healing.
-What to do if waking up at 2 am solar time and having swollen ankles during the day? Investigate the liver. Serotonin, estrogen drive the fluid out of the cells and cause edema.
-No such thing as estrogen or serotonin receptors – see research before 1940s. PUFAs increase estrogen.
-How to stop man boobs in an active, thin 11 year old boy? Are due to estrogen imbalance. Usually a diet issue. Grains, esp. wheat, and complex carbs give man boobs. Butter and oranges are anti-estrogenic. Grapefruit is highly estrogenic. Lemon is neutral. No soy. No chemical exposure, no plastic bottles.
-Chronic burning sensation on left side of abdomen. Was prescribed a purple pill. Tried many remedies. Test for an ulcer: press in middle of chest below sternum; if pain, is an ulcer or heart problem. Small intestine problem? Ptosis? Purple pill would make it worse. Sauerkraut juice with a tiny bit of cayenne good for ulcer – take at heart time. Olive oil. Start day with soaked almonds. Find the emotional problem. GI tract is highly tied in with the mother. H. pylori is mostly made up. Milk diet led to kidney disease. Buttermilk at certain times is good for ulcers. Peptic ulcer vs. stomach ulcer vs. duodenal ulcer symptoms.
