He is researching the keto bodies as a way we’ve survived when we didn’t eat three meals a day..or better said, just did have the “food” around to eat that often.

These Keto Bodies are created on a low carb, (less than 100 grams of carbs) or more extreme, but in ketosis, which is generally about 50 grams of complex carbs per day

Metabolism of food in the cells create energy in the form of ATP and stabilizes blood sugar/glucose to stay constant with proper diet for each person

Fat from sugar and no glucose and trouble arises

Type one and two Diabetics typically do very well going into ketosis

Our early ancestors evolved creating ketones to keep them going when there was not food.

If you are OK and doing fine, feeling good on what you eat..don’t change

if you want to loose weight, cut down on the carbs

Research is ongoing on how the amount of keto bodies affect the growth and diminishing of cancer cells.
