Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

Beta-carotene is advertised as an antioxidant, right?

Aren’t all antioxidants the same? Aren’t they all good for you?

No one sells a carbon monoxide supplement. Yet it’s the Elephant in the Living Room when it comes to antioxidants.

<>

Carbon monoxide is 200-230 times more randy for hemoglobin than oxygen.

So who’s the alpha antioxidant in the house?

It’s not astaxanthin, even though it’s billed as the “grandfather of traditional antioxidants.”

It’s not hydroxytyrosol, the so-called “superstar of antioxidants,” with an ORAC value “considered to be 15 times higher than green tea and 3 times higher than CoQ10.

Roll up your pants. It’s too late to save your shoes!

<>

Carbon monoxide poisoning is conventionally treated with 100% oxygen.

Big mistake. It leads to additional brain damage.

All oxidants aren’t the same either.

<>

Carbon dioxide is an antioxidant.

Using a mix of 5% carbon dioxide and 95% oxygen in a hyperbaric chamber is an ideal therapy for carbon monoxide poisoning.

<>

Temperature affects the usefulness of carbon dioxide as an antioxidant.

Carbon dioxide production drops in half with every 8°C (14.4°F) drop in temperature.

Temperature also affects the effectiveness of oxygen as an oxidant.

Oxygen consumption drops up to three times for every 1°C (1.8°F) rise in temperature.

<>

Exposure to RED and INFRARED low-intensity light therapy (LILT) helps prevent both acute and chronic carbon monoxide brain and heart damage.

That’s good news for tobacco and cannabis smokers.

Smoking is especially unhealthy for people with Yellow Fat Disease.

<>

Red and infrared therapy are homeopathic for people IN THE PINK.

Death by carbon monoxide creates a red complexion.

Death by other methods usually leaves a bluish colored corpse, while death by carbon monoxide leaves a “cherry-cheeked” one.

That’s why corporate meat manufacturers in the U.S. inject carbon monoxide into their products.

It’s illegal in many countries (including Canada and Japan), but not in the United States of Toxic Drugs in the Food Supply.

<>

Smoking causes carbon monoxide brain damage.

What else does?

According to OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Organization) …

“You may be exposed to harmful levels of CO [carbon monoxide] in boiler rooms, breweries, warehouses, petroleum refineries, pulp and paper production, and steel production; around docks, blast furnaces, or coke ovens; or in one of the following occupations:

“Welder

“Garage mechanic

“Firefighter

“Carbon-black maker

“Organic chemical synthesizer

“Metal oxide reducer

“Longshore worker

“Diesel engine operator

“Forklift operator

“Marine terminal worker

“Toll booth or tunnel attendant

“Customs inspector

“Police officer

“Taxi driver.”

<>

OSHA’s not concerned with illegal immigrants, so it makes no mention of lawn mowers and leaf blowers.

<>

Also, don’t let your kids ride in the back of your pickup truck.

That goes for dogs and other pets too.

<>

Back to red and infrared. How do they work?

Carbon monoxide binds to hemoglobin, myoglobin, and — here’s where red and infrared shine — mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase.

<>

Joseph Tafur, M.D., & Paul J. Mills, Ph.D. (“Low-Intensity Light Therapy: Exploring the Role of Redox Mechanisms,” Photomedicine and Laser Surgery, Aug. 2008) wrote …

“In addition [to wound healing and the modulation of chronic inflammation], there is now a growing body of evidence that indicates that low-intensity red and near-infrared light is acting on cells through a primary photoacceptor: cytochrome C oxidase, the terminal enzyme of the mitochondrial electron transport chain. This evidence implies cytochrome C oxidase absorption, over other possible elements of the electron transport chain. Eells’s group, for example, has demonstrated that low-intensity red light (670 nm) can modulate the effects of molecules known to directly inhibit cytochrome C oxidase activity. Furthermore, low-intensity laser researchers Karu and Kolyakov have reported similarities between the absorption spectrum of cytochrome C oxidase and the action spectra for various biological responses of HeLa cells irradiated with monochromatic light of 580–860 nm. These action spectra demonstrate peak positions in the red range (between 613.5 and 623.5 nm), the far-red range (between 667.5 and 683.7 nm), and two peak positions in the infrared range (750.7–772.3 nm and 812.5–846.0 nm).”

A 250-watt red heat lamp (“chicken brooding light”) emits wavelengths between 590nm and 950nm, a wide spectral range that includes all of the frequencies listed above.

<>

Caution: General Electric heat lamp cartons warn …

“While the distance should be adjusted for personal comfort, the lamp should never be placed closer than 18 inches to the surface toward which it is directed.

According to Adano Ley (Swami Nitty-Gritty) …

“When in doubt, follow the instructions.”

<>

Well, this started out as a blog entry about beta-carotene, but I’ve gone off on another tangent.

“And he mounted his horse and rode off in all directions.”

It’s that Yes No Maybe Guy again, hanging loose in cyberspace, where the next blog entry is only a finger swipe away.

“You’re the only one who has men on the left and women on the right,” said Jill (not her real name).

She’d just returned from a weekend workshop with Robert Tennyson Stevens (his real name).

“First of all, I’m not the only one who says so,” I replied. “Only Polarity Therapy and Western Psychology have men on the right and women on the left.

“Chinese Face Reading has men on the left and women on the right.

“So do American Indian Sclerology and the ancient Vedic writings.

I asked Jill’s husband Jack (not his real name), “Do you mind lying down on the floor and being part of a little experiment?”

      “Sure,” Jack obliged.

I showed Jill how to do Figure Eights with Jack’s feet, and asked him, “How’s your mother doing?”

“His right foot just moved,” Jill said.

“Is his mother a man or a woman?” I asked a bit haughtily.

      I held up my eyeglasses.

“If I drop my glasses, do they fall up to the ceiling or do they fall down to the floor?

“If you look for the answer in books, 50 percent might say they fall to the ceiling and 50 percent they fall to the floor.

“Don’t read about it in books. Simply drop the glasses and see for yourself.”

      I dropped my eyeglasses.

“But always look for the exception to the rule. Because if I had dropped them up in space, they might have floated up to the ceiling instead of dropped to the floor.”

Ray Peat (“Membranes, plasma membranes, and surfaces,” 2006-2016) wrote …

“If you want to use a polyunsaturated oil as a drug, it is worthwhile to remember that the ‘essential fatty acids’ suppress metabolism and promote obesity; are immunosuppressive; cause inflammation and shock; are required for alcoholic liver cirrhosis; sensitize to radiation damage; accelerate formation of aging pigment, cataracts, retinal degeneration; promote free radical damage and excitoxicity; cause cancer and accelerate its growth; are toxic to the heart muscle and promote atherosclerosis; can cause brain edema, diabetes, excessive vascular permeability, precocious puberty, progesterone deficiency, skin wrinkling and other signs of aging.”

Chickens are called “pigs with feathers” because they eat almost anything.

They’re alleged to be the closest known descendants to Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Chickens left to their own devices (and not fed fish oil or Big Macs) eat a variety of foods and non-foods, including …

grubs, worms, insects, bees, mice, baby birds, greens, sand, small stones

“God made a marvelous mechanism. Everything flows from left to right and then crosses at a particular point by the solar plexus. Solar relates to space, stars, and the universe, while plexus relates to a brain, or a center. There is a miniature universe here. The energy crossing at the solar plexus flows backward and forward inside, going up and down.” — Swami Nitty-Gritty

nice synchronicity atom! i was just going to ask you about carbon as an essential element in regards to my smoking habit. carbo vegetabilis is a known homeopathic cure for smokers. lately i’ve been trying to cut down on smoking by baking a small piece of tobbaco under my tongue and absorbing it sublingually. but regardless it gives only a fraction of the satisfaction of a rolled cigarette. i consume eggs and garlic a lot now and i wonder if there’s a relationship between sulphur and carbon? even with the decreased oxygen uptake i feel a “healthy weight” from the carbon inhaled, and crave it when i’ve gone for an hour without a smoke. this unbearable “lightness of being” sets in and makes me feel like i’m walking on air.

it’s interesting to note jan scholten (known homeopathic elementalist) puts carbon in the ‘peak’ of stage 10 with platinum and palladium (diamond mind) while other theorists want it in stage 14 with the self doubt and ‘discarded’ feeling of tin and germanium (way past the peak and repetive mentally by now). i feel smoking is passivating (makes me passive, word?) while it also feels like a mini-victory of sorts. the diamond body must require at least minute amounts of carbon, right? :)

(cutting carbs out gives the same effect, while smoking decreases the carb-craving, by raising blood sugar and the carbon itself i guess)

sorry for the long thread of speculation. i should start a blog of my own or kick out some youtube vids on the elemental theory of everyday life. potential bestseller? i dunno. ha ha!

The Diamond Body is dependent on carbon.

Carbon is exceedingly versatile. Its isotopes include graphite, diamond, amorphous carbon, carbon nanofoam, graphene, and carbyne.

Incidentally, tin is one of the most sentient of metals.

        <>

Carbon and sulfur — as carbon disulfide — go together like a horse and carriage.

Smoking is usually (there’s always the exception to the rule) caused by …

        1) unresolved grief (crying helps)

        2) unresolved authority issues (spitting and tongue extension help)

thanks atom. i was grief stricken at an early age and found mental solace in tobacco later on. i actually started to engage the gag reflex when scraping my tongue a few days ago, this sets the saliva in motion, curbs the smoke cravings and (speculation) seems to equalize and enhance the flow of kundalini to the thyroid and brain, ie, clearer and more sentiment verbalism. also a less dictatorial mentality regarding day to day life. :))))

on a less serious note: here’s some esoteric (historic, streetsmart whatever) rap you might enjoy

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwM1keL3yOQ

while the esoteric books released by wu-tang clan members might be best taken with a pinch of salt they truly knew how to mobilize sonics on a meditative warfare-level and deliver the rare “new thing” for a change. the lines:

“I judge wisely as if nothing ever surprise me
Lounging between two pillars of ivory
I’m lively, my dome piece is like building stones in Greece
Our poems are deep, from ancient tomes I speak
I’m overwhelmed as my mind roams the realm
My eye’s the visions, memory is the film
Others act sub-tile, but they fragile above cloud
They act wild and couldn’t budge a crowd
No matter how loud they get, though they growl and spit
Clutch they fists and throw up signs like a Crip”

makes my associative mind level spin wild. gang signs (the “blood”, “crip” type finger twisting common on rap crew photoshots) as mudras? synchronizing the mind and vocal chords to the beat and reaching a zone of spontaneous delivery? rap and hip hop might be as spiritual as low-brow culture ever got! :)))
