How to Yawn #14

Can you yawn your fat away?

Does Grizzly Adams have a beard?

Does the Pope wear a funny hat?

Does a pigeon’s bum pucker in a power dive?

Science is slowly catching up to Adano Ley (Swami Nitty-Gritty), who taught me (and others) the Science of Constriction/Dilation.

According to Adano …

“There’s no such thing as weight loss or weight gain. It’s all constriction or dilation.”

<>

Bodybuilder Casey Viator (1951-2013) “gained” 63.21 pounds in 22 days in the well-known Colorado Experiment (with the “help” of Nautilus creator Arthur Allen Jones (1926-2007).

Another time — and with zero publicity — Casey “gained” 75 pounds in three days without exercising.

Not even bodybuilder Joe Meeko (1961-2009) could eat enough food to accomplish that.

If Joe Meeko had been invited to the Last Supper, it would still be going on.

Kevin Trudeau (Natural Cures “They” Don’t Want You to Know About, Updated Edition, 2004) wrote …

“You put in ten pounds of soil, and you put in one tiny little seed, and every day you add some water, and at the end of the year you have this big plant. Well, take the plant out, shake off the soil from the roots and weigh the soil. Guess what? You still have ten pounds of soil. The only thing you added was some water. If you were to measure the water, you may have added about five pounds of water. Theoretically, the plant should weigh no more than five pounds if it grabbed 100 percent of the water. But the plant weighs fifty pounds. Wow! What happened? How did fifty pounds of mass and matter magically appear?”

<>

Don Tolman (Farmacist Desk Reference: Encyclopedia of Whole Food Medicine, Vol. 1, 2007) wrote …

“Plants synthesize from water and air the nutrition they need. They don’t even eat dirt, that’s the big ‘supplement lie.’ For instance; if trees ate dirt, the forest would fall in the hole.”

<>

Helena Curtis (Biology, Second Edition, 1968, 1975) wrote …

“Van Helmont grew a small willow tree in an earthenware pot for four years, adding only water to the pot. At the end of five years, the willow had increased in weight by 164 pounds, while the earth decreased in weight by only 2 ounces.”

<>

Jan Baptist van Helmont (1579-1644) was the founder of Pneumatic Chemistry.

<>

Adano pointed to the image of a bodybuilder on a can of protein powder, saying …

“Give me this guy for half an hour, and I’ll make him burp and fart all his muscles away!”

Add yawning to the mix …

“Controlled yawning is an automatic release for the bladder and kidney. It also releases gas in the rectum.”

According to WebMD, “There’s no scientific basis for ear candling.”

Except it sometimes works! (But that’s NOT earwax in the candle!)

My uncle Carl was stone deaf in one ear, and years later, went deaf in the other.

His M.D. cleaned it (both with plain water and water combined with a drug), and pronounced Carl deaf for life.

My aunt Ann learned candling in Sicily, and Carl had his hearing back in the affected ear.

There are no inherent health benefits of any real consequence in sauerkraut, but when regarded as a stomachic, it can enhance digestion.

Its lactic acid content is probably cancelled out by its ability to stimulate digestion when eaten in moderation.

However, an excess of lactic acid foods can have serious health consequences.
