Magic Bullets Out Of Context
Ulcers are catabolic, and stimulated by hyper-alkalinity.
Tumors are anabolic, and promoted by hyper-acidity.
But what happens when tumors spread? It’s called metastasis, another word for ulceration.
Ulcers include pressure ulcers.
According to the University of Washington (2002, 2019) …
“A pressure ulcer that has not healed after eight weeks of wound care and adequate nutrition is called a non-healing wound and may be an indication that the patient is in a catabolic state. Catabolism is a destructive metabolic process that converts living tissue to waste, in contrast to healthy anabolic metabolism, in which nutrients are converted to living tissue. The catabolic state creates a vicious cycle of non-healing and multiple coexisting medical problems, [Dr. Jennifer] James said, and ‘unless this systemic catabolic state is reversed, the wound cannot heal.'”
Protein-Calorie Metabolism (PCM) is involved, although protein supplementation doesn’t help.
That’s why medical doctors use oxandrolone, an Androgen and Anabolic Steroid (AAS).
Oxandrolone is a chemical agent without a context.
Chemicals react differently in different environments, something both mainstream doctors and holistic doctors don’t grok.
Emanuel Revici, M.D. (1896-1997), an innovator in nontoxic cancer chemotherapy, not only grokked it; he pioneered a metabolic therapy to demonstrate it over and over and over again.
Would you buy a bathing suit to travel to Antarctica (unless you’re attending a Wim Hof workshop)?
Would you buy earmuffs to travel to Hawaii (unless you’ve got tickets to a KISS concert)?
The following refers to *all* diseases, *not just* cancer.
Emanuel Revici (Research In Physiopathology As Basis Of Guided Chemotherapy—With Special Application To Cancer, 1961) wrote …
“The exaggerated importance attributed to experimentation in biological science, its use even as a substitute for ideas, has led recently to a massive attempt to solve the therapeutic problem of cancer by indiscriminate screening of chemical agents. Here, empiricism has been brought to its culmination. After tests of tens of thousands of agents, many workers are now beginning to realize that the results are almost worthless for cancer therapy in humans, that seemingly promising agents have an effectiveness limited to the conditions present in the actual animal experiments. By its impressive magnitude, the failure of indiscriminate screening, of empiricism epitomized, has begun to impel many workers to change their idea as to what must be done if the cancer problem is to be solved.”
Unfortunately, Dr. Revici was light-years too optimistic.
Things are getting worse thanks to such harebrained institutions as “functional medicine” and evidence-based medicine.”
The materia medica of both mainstream and holistic doctors continues to grow at an exponential rate, while “metabolism” is ignored.
According to Chemical & Engineering News (Jan. 22, 2018) …
“Early on in 2017, it was clear the year would bring a bountiful crop of new medicines. By mid-June, FDA had given its nod to as many new molecules as were approved in all of 2016.”
Oliver Wendell Holmes (1809-1894) was an astute galoot with static in the attic when he wrote …
“If the whole materia medica, as now used, could be sunk to the bottom of the sea, it would be so much the better for mankind–and all the worse for the fishes.”
