Tomatoes Are Acidic In the Mouth & Stomach

Many people don’t know the difference between an acidic food and an acidifying food.

A fraction less than 100 percent of all foods – not chemical agents like baking soda – are acidic or neutral in the mouth and stomach.

Tomatoes are acidic in the mouth and stomach, yet their alkaline residue alkalizes the body.

The gastric acid in the stomach has a pH of 1.5 to 3.5, while the acidity of tomato juice falls between 4.1 and 4.6.

The pH (power of hydrogen) scale is logarithmic, so each whole pH value below 7 is 10 times more acidic than the next highest value.

For example …

pH 1 is 10 times more acidic than pH 2

100 times more acidic than pH 3

1,000 times more acidic than pH 4

10,000 times more acidic than pH 5

100,000 times more acidic than pH 6

1,000,000 times more acidic than pH 7 (neutral)

Tomato products (vine-ripened, canned, juiced, strained, pureed, etc.) range between 3.5 to 4.9.

Compare that with applesauce, ten times more acidic than tomato products, ranging from 3.1 to 3.6.

Or blueberries at 3.1 to 3.3.

Or blackberries at 3.8 to 4.5.

Or Concord grapes at 2.8 to 3.0.

Or dill pickles at 3.2 to 3.7.

A gelatin dessert – 2.8 to 3.0 – is as much as 100 times more acidic than a tomato.

Lemon juice, of course, is even more acidic – 2.0 to 2.6.

Tact and diplomacy dictate we shouldn’t come right out and tell someone their aversion to tomatoes is a MENTAL FIXATION.

It’s easy to forget that words like “tomato” are theoretical abstractions of reality and not reality itself.

Exception to the rule: Someone might be allergic to tomatoes, especially to the ALKALOID tomatine.

Vine-ripened tomatoes – compared to windowsill-ripened tomatoes and other tomato products – are low in the toxic glycoalkaloid tomatine.

Of course, the word “allergy” is also a theoretical abstraction of reality.

Adano Ley (Swami Nitty-Gritty) said …

“Truth is self-evident. Reality is the observation of the self-evident, or relative action. Actuality is participation with the self-evident – unified action.”

There’s a few exceptions to the rule that “all foods are acidic or neutral in the mouth and stomach” …

Egg white is slightly alkaline – 7.9 (almost 8.0).

Graham crackers range from 7.1 to 7.92 (very slightly alkaline).

Soda crackers range from 5.6 (acidic) to 7.3 (very slightly alkaline).

Cooked spinach ranges from 6.6 (acidic) to 7.2 (very slightly alkaline). Raw spinach is acidic.

Peanut soup is 7.5 (very slightly alkaline). Plain peanuts are acidic.

Tofu is 7.2 (very slightly alkaline). Other soy products are acidic.

Tea (Camellia sinensis) is 7.2 (very slightly alkaline).

Camenbert cheese is 7.4 (very slightly alkaline).

Peptonized milk – an enzymatic mixture of milk solids – is 7.1 (very slightly alkaline). Almost all other dairy products are acidic.

The easiest way to acidify the human body is with meditation.

Asian cultures know how to eat defensively to protect themselves against meditation.

The “stiller” the meditative state, the more tissues are acidified.

Meditating correctly slows the heart rate and transcends the twitch reflex – sleep myoclonus.

Sleep myoclonus happens when passing through an alpha brain wave level of 11 cycles per second.

Entering 11 cycles per second from a higher brain wave frequency is called hypnagogia.

Entering 11 cycles per second from a lower brain wave frequency is called hypnopompia.

These states of threshold consciousness are often confused with meditation.

Stone Buddha Meditation is a static apnea state of conscious sleep paralysis.

Re: Is it just muscle testing that you believe in?

No, I believe in my own technology of Muscle Engram Testing.

Ex-New York City school teacher John Taylor Gatto asked his students what movies they viewed on television.

Then he commented, “Instead of watching somebody else’s movie, why don’t you make one of your own?”

MET goes way beyond Applied Kinesiology, Touch For Health, Behavioral Kinesiology, etc..

It’s like comparing a Tianhe-2 supercomputer with an abacus.

    (1) MET is cinematic, not photographic.

It measures muscles in motion. It’s not limited to single “snapshot” testing.

Conventional Muscle Response Testing is analogous to monitoring a person in a room for an hour with a single still-picture camera.

MET is analogous to monitoring a person in a room for an hour with six motion picture cameras set at six different angles.

It’s obvious which system will reveal the most data about the person in the room.

    (2) MET measures a positive response, not a negative response. It measures a “peak,” not a “valley.”

Other muscle testing systems find the “problem” in the muscle response “failing,” or weakening.

    (3) MET’s muscle indicator flows forward, from the testee to the tester, not backward, where the original force is provided by the tester.

    (4) MET measures both brain hemispheres simultaneously and continuously.

    (5) MET is visual as well as tactile.

It’s not confined to physical contact like AK, TFH, BK, etc.

    (6) MET can monitor all twelve acupuncture meridians simultaneously by both touch and sight.

This is especially true of the Lung, Large Intestine, Circulation/Sex, and Triple Heater meridians.

    (7) The MET testee is totally passive and doesn’t have to change positions while being tested.

All they have to do is lie on their back on a massage table or a floor mat.

    (8) No muscle exertion whatsoever is required by MET, so muscles can’t get “tired” or overused.

Muscles can be monitored all day and all night if required, including when the testee is soundly sleeping.

    (9) MT can find “volcanic” engrams as well as “oceanic” engrams.

Volcanic engrams cause a muscle (and related muscles) to contract with a single thought.

Oceanic engrams cause chronic muscle contraction.

    (10) MET can be learned faster than any other technique on the planet.

    (11) MET only measures toxic engrams, the ones that don’t serve you or your vibrant state of high-level wellness.

PS: Add Swami Nitty-Gritty’s Color Analysis to MET, and no toxic engram will slip by you.

Re: Is it just muscle testing that you believe in?

Read my Body Language Systems, then practice Muscle Engram Testing on your family, friends, acquaintances, and even strangers.

If you “turn” the feet of just one person, I guarantee you will have numerous volunteers for your learning experiences.

Then you’re in a school with no walls at no charge.

It’s totally free, and someone might even make a donation for your efforts

If someone else sees that money changing hands, they might take the hint and donate too.

I learned MET from the Body Language of my clients.

No one – not even Swami Nitty-Gritty – taught it to me.

of course balance is everything but do you think people would benefit from acidifying their bodies? is salt acidifying? acidity is a yang state, right?

and could you write a blog post about gamma waves someday? i found the little you’ve posted fascinating but other info on the web is nearly not there.

The human body is designed to buffer Yang (acid) and Yin (alkaline) if we eat a balanced, time-enhanced diet.

Sodium chloride usually buffers the body.

Sodium separates from chlorine in the stomach.

Chlorine combines with hydrogen to form hydrochloric acid (Yang) in the stomach.

Hydrochloric acid becomes so Yang, it acts Yin in the stomach.

Sodium combines with bicarbonate to form sodium bicarbonate (Yin) in the duodenum.

Sodium bicarbonate becomes so Yin, it acts Yang in the small intestine.

Excess Yang transforming into Yin and excess Yin transforming into Yang is a fundamental principle of both the I Ching and Chinese medicine.

I’ll see what I can do about writing about gamma rays in the near future.

I read that the sodium and chloride in salt cannot be separated by the body… and that salt is an irritant and gets eliminated by the body entirely unused because the body considers it as a threat(because of the body’s inability to separate the chloride/sodium molecules

          Where did you read that?

Sodium and chloride easily dissociate in the body to form hydrochloric acid and sodium bicarbonate.

The chlorine combines with the hydrogen in water to form hydrochloric acid in the stomach.

The sodium combines with the carbon in bicarbonate to form sodium bicarbonate in the duodenum.

i also loved your post about colors/aura and the positive lack of them. a lot of your (and adano’s) ideas are really against the grain of general new age consensus. what’s your take on crystal healing/jewelry? do they stimulate auric color in a way that creates attachments?

Colors have health benefits after one spirals off the Color Wheel (color circle) and lifts up one level to the Time Wheel (clock).

Color, temperature, and magnetism are indicators of the Third Chakra.

Barometric pressure, partial pressures of gases, and temporal pressure (physical “time pressure” underlies psychological “time pressure”) are indicators of the Fourth Chakra.

I learned a lot about crystals from Swami Nitty-Gritty, who used them extensively, and I might write something about them in the future.

Thanks for your kind words. :)

thanks for answering. you always such interesting food for thought.

you said something about mirrors having a feng shui quality of deflecting energy. i put one up to protect my workspace and crystals and it works like a charm it does. i used aluminum foil before and wonder if it has a similar effect? i consider plastering my walls temporarily while doing some energy/meditative work.

Mirrors work better because the image is clearer.

Standing on aluminum foil drains “dirty electricity” from your body.

Aluminum foil and a dry cell battery can “drain” a sunburn too. :)
