Acid-Alkaline Interplay

The Golden Goofiness Award for the most misconceived front cover on an acid-bad/alkaline-good book goes to …

Thomas A. Baroody’s Alkalize or Die: Superior Health Through Proper Acid Alkaline Balance, 1991.

I laughed when I first saw it on the shelves of a health food store.

Its cover motivated me to write my rebuttal, Acidify or Die.

<>

Alkalize or Die’s cover depicts alkalinity as a cascading waterfall amidst a lush primeval forest, contrasted to acidity as a desiccated, barren desert.

Guess what? Soils in moist climates are typically acidic, whereas soils in dry climates are usually alkaline.

Deserts are invariably either dried-up alkali flats or salt flats, while the lush foliage of mountain forests is almost always produced by acidic soils.

The valleys and plains IN BETWEEN are less extreme.

The Middle Way is the dynamic interplay between the trend towards structure (acid organization) and the opposing trend towards chaos (alkaline disorganization).

Julie Cohen (“Soil pHertility,” The UCSB Current, Dec. 6, 2016) wrote …

“‘We found that if you go to wet climates — places where you might expect to find a forest, whether in the high latitudes or in the Amazon — the pH is acidic,’ said lead author Eric Slessarev, a Ph.D. student in the Department of Ecology, Evolution and Marine Biology. ‘If you go to dry climates, the pH is alkaline. This is what we expected. But our analysis was able to confirm that the transition between those two zones is very abrupt.

“‘It only takes a small change in climate to achieve the switch from that acid zone to the alkaline zone and there are fewer soils with an intermediate pH,’ Slessarev added. ‘Those soils are in places like Iowa or the Ukraine, which — not coincidentally — are places intensively farmed because those neutral range soils are the most fertile. Extreme pH tends to be bad for crops for a variety of reasons.'”

According to Emanuel Revici, M.D. (1961) …

“Alternate operation of electrostatic and quantum forces leads to the organization of atoms into molecules. The quantum forces in the molecules intervene to permit organization of these entities so that the constituents are maintained at proper distances and positions. The result is electrostatic neutrality. The appearance of new quantum forces that maintain the constituents, through their organized movement, at certain distances and in certain positions, insures not only the establishment but also the stability of the new formations.”

Why does a chef put a lid on a pot? To stop the acids — the life force — from escaping.

The alkaline fraction sinks to the bottom of the pot.

    All disease is ultimately DEPRESSION.
Depression is the doorway to death and extinction.
ANGER is the way to life and continuance.
    It’s the rage to live.
    Courage is controlled rage (cou-rage).
Anger and aggression are related, but not synonymous.
An example of healthy anger is the play-fighting of children.
Anger leads to JOY, and joy leads to LOVE, and love leads to REVERENCE.

Graphene oxide is paramagnetic, ferromagnetic, and antiferromagnetic, but there’s not enough in food, water, or vaccinations to attract anything but a micro-magnet.

No need to swallow the Blue Pill if you own a smartphone.
It’s not too late if you own a sledgehammer. Have fun!

Re: Thoughts on systemic Candida/fungus? I believe it’s very real?
Invasive systemic candidiasis is an automatic death warrant if left untreated.
It’s very real but fortunately very rare.
Sugar stops Candida from putting out tendrils (tentacles) and going systemic.

California is ahead of Texas when it comes to animals. A golden retriever named Maximus Mighty-Dog Mueller II is the second and incumbent mayor of Idyllwild, His deputy mayors, Mitzi and Mikey, are his cousins. Idyllwild is known for being one of the first to elect a dog for mayor.
According to Wikipedia, “The Mayor’s duties include visiting with locals and out-of-town visitors, attending business grand openings and other town functions, being in the town’s two annual parades, and promoting Idyllwild. Max’s notoriety has spread the world over. He has appeared on news programs, talk shows, advertisements, billboards, and a game show in the interest of the town.”
