Testosterone & Man Boobs

Re: How can I boost my testosterone?

A higher choice for a question might be, “How can I maintain my testosterone?”

Testosterone easily deteriorates into the stress hormone estrogen, causing gynecomastia.

Testosterone tests without knowing one’s testosterone/estrogen ratio are as useless as nipples on a breastplate.

<>

Gym rats call gynecomastia “moobs” — man boobs.

1980 Mr. Universe champ Hubert Metz suffered “the wrath of the crowd all afternoon with shouts of ‘Bitch Tits!’ aimed toward him” at the 1981 Mr. Olympia contest in Columbus, Ohio.

<>

Steroids cause testosterone to convert into toxic estrogen.

Starvation does the same, as in numerous cases of lactating prisoners of war.

The shock of birth often cause newborn males to experience temporary man boobs.

Puberty is a common cause of temporary man boobs, as are the drugs prescribed for prostate cancer.

Indeed, certain cancers create man boobs.

<>

Toxic estrogen? Yes, toxic, but useful for emergencies and specific functions.

Adrenaline, cortisol, serotonin, nitric oxide, and lactic acid are all in the same category, but I wouldn’t supplement with them.

A broken arm or an eviction notice is plenty supplementation enough for any of the above list of hormones.

Yes, hormones.

All of the above, including nitric oxide and lactic acid, are actually “hormones.”

Don’t expect any mainstream beaker boys to agree with me.

Toxins like estrogen can be useful.

Other examples are digitalis, ouabain (from Somali waabaayo, “arrow poison”), and homeopathic drugs.

<>

Estrogen is NOT a sex hormone.

But if it were, which it certainly is not, it would be a male sex hormone, since it determines the sex of the male in the womb.

Pregnancy, from one point of view, is an “infection,” whose “disease vector” is an invasive sperm.

An acidic vagina prevents a sperm infection.

Millions of sperm help alkalize the vagina, dropping immunity to facilitate conception.

Acidity increases immunity. Alkalinity decreases immunity, encouraging both pregnancy and cancer.

<>

Anyone influenced by Theodore Baroody’s Alkalize or Die might think twice and read my Acidify or Die.

Thinking twice is twice as nice, but thinking thrice is more precise.

<>

Douglas Fox (“Why Sex, Really?: To get pregnant, women may need to be ‘inoculated’ by men first,” U.S. News & World Report, Oct. 21, 2002) wrote …

“The placenta’s invasion mimics a tumor. The organ even sheds foreign cells — into the mother’s bloodstream that later reattach and grow in her lungs, like metastasis in cancer. Normally the mother’s immune system wouldn’t tolerate this, but in pregnancy it may because of previous exposure to the father’s foreign genes.”

<>

Ray Peat (“Aging, estrogen, and progesterone,” 2006-2016) wrote …

“Cancer, abnormal blood clotting, and infertility were known to be caused by estrogen before 1940, but at the same time the drug companies began calling estrogen ‘the female hormone,’ and claiming that it would improve fertility.”

According to the same source …

“Many people studying estrogen’s biological effects observed that certain of its effects resembled the changes seen in aging, such as fibrotic changes of connective tissues, accelerated accumulation of age pigment, a tendency to miscarry, or the production of degenerative changes in various organs. But as far as I know, I was the first one to suggest that aging itself involves increased estrogen dominance.”

Estrogen grows babies … and cancer.

Cancer is an “evil twin,” and death by cancer is “fratricide,” according to the Scottish embryologist Dr. John Beard (1857-1924).

Dr. Beard discovered that a malignant tumor, given the opportunity to sustain normal development and timing, “would have been the twin brother or sister of the individual in whom the tumor arises.”

See my May 30, 2015, Sun Sync blog entry (Medical Amnesia / Trophoblastic Theory Of Cancer #4) for “the rest of the story,” to borrow a phrase from Paul Harvey.

Re: Testosterone/estrogen ratio? Are ratios really that important?

According to “Onion Juice with 2, 4-D Is Fatally Unpleasant,” Science News Letter, May 3, 1947 …

“Onion juice mixed with 2,4-D boosts the weed-killing capacity of the chemical from ten to twenty fold.”

According to the same source …

“Greatest effect was obtained when one part of onion juice was dissolved in from twenty to thirty parts of water. Both above and below that ratio the killing power diminished.”
