Vitamin D & Strong Bones

If vitamin D is so important for bone strength, why do the Aleuts have the strongest bones in the world?

They have the largest and strongest muscles attached to the largest and strongest bones in all the world.

Their bones also have the strongest robusticity and rugosity.

They can row their kayaks all day at speeds of up to nine miles per hour without rest.

<>

The Aleuts live up in the frigid north with Nanook of the North and company.

They live in the Aleutian Islands — “Land of the Aleuts.”

<>

You say the Aleuts get their vitamin D from whales?

Possibly. The whales do winter in Mexico and Hawaii.

Obviously, their vitamin D stores don’t run out while they’re summering up North.

Mother Nature protects her children from the dark nights and cold winters.

You say the Aleuts get their vitamin D from salmon and other oily fish?

Where do the salmon and other oily fish get their vitamin D?

They don’t winter in the South.

You say the salmon and other oily fish get their vitamin D from algae?

Where do the algae get their vitamin D?

Algae don’t winter in the South.

What about krill?

They don’t winter in the South either.

I don’t have an answer to this conundrum. It’s above my pay grade. What say you?

Today is Friday, August 2, so if you stay totally naked all day in the Aleutians, you might be able to get enough vitamin D to make the beaker boys and vitamin D marketers happy.

Tomorrow’s vitamin D outlook is not as good, and Sunday’s is even worse.

<>

Vitamin D from sunshine is a group of dozens of vitamins, not a single one.

What’s the name of the vitamin D measured in the blood? Toxiferol.

“Toxiferol” has no marketing potential, so the beaker boys changed its name to 25-hydroxy-vitamin D.

It sounds more impressive.

Vitamin D in tablet or capsule form is a drug.

That doesn’t make it bad.

What it does mean is that it — like 99% of all drugs — has two sides, a Yin and a Yang.

Toxiferol (or the equivalent in the tablet or capsule you’re using) is ALKALIZING, so it slows the growth of cancer.

But, because it is ALKALIZING, it speeds the spread (metastasis) of cancer.

It’s important to know what kind of cancer you’re treating, and whether it spreads by “ground troops” or by “air force.”

Toxiferol works just dandy for a slow-growth “ground troops” type of cancer.

The optimum wavelengths for producing vitamin D are between 290-315 nanometers.

Vitamin D production peaks at 297 nanometers, according to most sources.

Taxpayer money supports universities so DARPA and private corporations don’t have to pay for their research themselves.

This all-too-common scam started when the University of Wisconsin patented vitamin D in 1923.

Re: Dr. Oz says that 75% of Americans are Vitamin D Deficient.

Roll up your pants! It’s too late to save your shoes!

Misinformed doctors are looking for vitamin D in the blood of misinformed patients.

Blood is vitamin D’s highway, not its home or office.

Is vitamin D in the road construction business? No.

Is it the Highway Patrol. No.

When are these misinformed doctors taking their blood measurements?

When is vitamin D more likely to be driving on the highway?

And when is it more likely to be home in bed?

And when is vitamin D more likely to be needed?

On a sunny day or on a cloudy day or in the wee willie hours of the early morning?

Polyunsaturated fatty acids, especially highly unsaturated fatty acids (omega 3), corrupt iodine for their own use.

The Iodine Number is the number of grams of iodine absorbed by 100 grams of oil, fat, or wax.

As a general rule, the higher the Iodine Number, the more likely it is to cause Yellow Fat Disease (cumulative lipofuscinosis).

Age spots — in the skin, liver, heart, kidneys, brain, and iris of the eye — are symptoms of Yellow Fat Disease.

According to “Iodine value,” Wikipedia (last updated Dec. 18, 2018) …

Coconut oil has an Iodine Number of 7 to 10.

In other words, 100 grams of coconut oil absorbs 7 to 10 grams of iodine.

100 grams of palm kernel oil absorbs 16 to 19 grams of iodine.

100 grams of palm oil absorbs 50 to 55 grams of iodine.

100 grams of butter absorbs 26 to 40 grams of iodine.

100 grams of olive oil absorbs 80 to 88 grams of iodine.

100 grams of peanut oil absorbs 84 to 106 grams of iodine.

100 grams of rice bran oil absorbs 95 to 108 grams of iodine.

100 grams of corn oil absorbs 109 to 133 grams of iodine.

100 grams of canola oil absorbs 110 to 126 grams of iodine.

100 grams of wheat germ oil absorbs 115 to 134 grams of iodine.

100 grams of soybean oil absorbs 120 to 136 grams of iodine.

100 grams of sunflower oil absorbs 118 to 144 grams of iodine.

100 grams of walnut oil absorbs 120 to 155 grams of iodine.

100 grams of grape seed oil absorbs 124 to 144 grams of iodine.

100 grams of linseed oil (flaxseed oil) absorbs 136 to 178 grams of iodine.

100 grams of cod liver oil absorbs 145 to 180 grams of iodine.
