Yes, you might eat meat at the second hour of Heart Time (12:00 noon-1:00 p.m.) and milk and cheese at Small Intestine Time (1:00-3:00 p.m.).
Adano Ley (Swami Nitty-Gritty identified the combination of calcium and iron in a lactic acid medium as a precondition of cancer. According to him …
“A farmer won’t use the milk from a cow with a bleeding udder. The hemoglobin [iron] in the blood and the lactic acid [calcium] in the milk don’t mix.”
Calcium-containing soils are often deficient in iron.
Calcium makes iron unavailable to plants.
Iron and calcium compete against each other in the cell.
Iron and calcium are both hierarchically associated with the monocellular cytoplasmic formations of the cellular level of the body and the Fourth Period of the Periodic Table.
According to Emanuel Revici, M.D., iron is a strongly anabolic element while calcium is strongly catabolic.

He wasn’t referring to hemoglobin versus lactic acid, but a McDonald’s double hamburger would be a far better choice.

The worst reason the Medical Police State is allowed to get away with is the “acidic” nature of coffee. If anyone tells you this, inform them that they don’t know beans about coffee, and if they’re a doctor, suggest that they’re in the wrong profession. :-D

The Ruby Red Grapefruit was created in 1929 — ten years before WW2 — by bombarding various grapefruits with gamma radiation till the color red became permanent.

Grapefruit is more of a liver destroyer than a cleanser. It inhibits a very important gut enzyme (CYP3A4), extending the hang-time of various toxins, poisons, and drugs.

Unfortunately, the pomelo interferes with CYP3A4 too. So does the Seville orange (and the marmalade made from it), but not other varieties of oranges.
Lemons are OK, but limes might not be.

What are your thoughts on iron overload and/or hemochromatosis? Due to iron fortification and meat heavy diets, I see a lot of symptoms of excess iron. Would you use dairy and higher calcium foods to reduce the storage of iron in these situations?

The same foods that block iron also block calcium, so it’s important that you know how and where to obtain calcium and its “helpers.”

I anxiously await the newsletter and will be sure to read it! I am assuming that consistently eating on time would regulate iron? And obviously avoiding high iron foods with things like Vitamin C? Thank you!

Yes, iron is subject to circadian rhythms.
Iron with vitamin C stores iron in the body. Vitamin C without iron moves iron out of the body.

Ditto this, and MAKE SURE it’s whole food form of vitamin c, as it contains tyrosinase enzyme which is powered by copper (the reason vitamin c is so important for regulating iron!).
Supplemental vitamin c, asorbic acid actually INHIBITS copper leading to more unregulated iron!
Yet another reason why whole foods > pills and potions

Rather than increase calcium (which can cause problems of its own if unregulated in body) it is my understanding that the best way to deal with iron is to get more bioavailable copper (shellfish, bee pollen, potatoes, nuts are great sources). Morley robbins is a great resource on this topic you should check him out if you aren’t farmiliar with his work. He talks a lot about how to mitigate excess iron. Aside from cooper, he does also recommend people do blood transfusions

All food contains structured water along with its unstructured water.
Any kind of juice is less adapted to digestion than solid food.
The exception to the rule is people with compromised digestion. Then juice is definitely better.

Hi Atom, what is your opinion about using these electric induction cookers (I use it to boil water and heat food), would they be affecting the food or water molecules unhealthily ? (like a microwave does)

There shouldn’t be any problem, since an electric induction cooker just turns the iron molecules in the pot’s internal structure into the stove burner. The water molecules get hot quicker, but in the normal way.

Yes. Grapefruit can increase the toxicity of toxic drugs by keeping them in the body longer than usual … to the point of damaging the liver and destroying the kidneys.
Grapefruit can also block so-called “good” drugs from working.
Both effects apply to supplements and foods too.

Yet grapefruit is used in the famous liver flush protocol (olive oil mixed with grapefruit juice). Would it be better to use lemon juice with the oil?

I’ve only done two kinds of liver cleanses …
1) Cobalamin Tonic at 1:00 a.m.
2) Freshly squeezed lemon juice, olive oil, and garlic at 12:00 midnight.
A one-time “engine flush” with grapefruit juice would probably not be a problem.
Grapefruit does contain quinine and other things some people value.

Atom, I recall you saying in passing that it’s not good to consume bread with meat, like in a hamburger, and a rice/meat combination is better. Can you elaborate on the science behind that?
Also, why (outside of solar time rules) would one want to avoid eating bush time meats out of time? Talking more about practical factors/ science. I know that since bush time is when our body temp is highest that is when we best digest protein, but any other factors of note? Since majority of fish are high omega 3 (and also more expensive than beef) I am unsure of what to eat for protein during root time, would eating beef at night cause me issues?( I heard Patrick ask a similar question, stating that he likes to eat ruminant meat at night, and your response was something along the lines of its fine to break the rules a little and not be a nazi about it. However I am interested in exactly WHY it would not be optimal)

Dextrinized potatoes are an excellent protein source. For those preferring flesh, there are many oil-less “dry” fish available.
