Is There an Ebola Antidote Only Ten Feet Away From Its Source?
It’s said that the antidote to any disease is only ten feet away from the toxin that caused the problem in the first place.
That’s certainly true in the case of mugwort, a remedy for poison oak.
It often grows in the very shadow of poison oak.
It may even be true for the Ebola River Virus, the cause of Ebola Virus Disease.
There have already been outbreaks of Ebola Virus Disease in Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Texas, in the U.S.
Fortunately, it was (allegedly) confined to non-human primates in the U.S. and Italy, and non-human primates and pigs in the Philippines.
Ebola is an ancient virus that has only recently crossed over from non-human primates (monkeys, chimpanzees, etc.) into humans, thanks to the thousands of non-human primates used worldwide in laboratories.
Around 65,000 non-human primates are used every year in the U.S., and around 7,000 in the European Union, according to the European Commission.
Corporate scientists love to get funky with their monkey-meat vaccines.
Zaire ebolavirus (an updated name for one of Ebola’s five species) was first encountered along the banks of the Ebola River in Zaire (now the Democratic Republic of the Congo).
Zaire ebolavirus is commoner and more virulent than the other four species. Its first outbreak occurred 38 years ago in 1976.
Garcinia kola is a plant that grows along the Ebola River.
Flavonoids in this plant slow down the multiplication of the virus.
“The same forest that yields the dreaded Ebola virus could be a source of the cure,” according to Dr Maurice Iwu.
According to the BBC (August 5, 1999) …
“The active compound is what is known as a dimeric flavonoid, which is two flavonoid molecules fused together.”
That was written 15 years ago.
A recent report (August 4, 2014) claimed …
“However, there are many more tests to be conducted first on mice in the next few months, and eventually primates, before it would be used on people.”
That’s nonsense. These tests have been done years ago.
Garcinia kola’s dimeric flavonoid is “on hold” until drug companies can figure out how to rearrange its molecules to obtain a profitable patent.
By the way, viruses do poorly in an alkaline environment, while bacteria do poorly in an acidic environment.
So an alkaline diet can be useful when a harmful virus like Ebola is in your neighborhood.
An acidic diet can be useful for fighting off secondary bacterial infections for those who already have Ebola.
A quick way to alkalize the body is to drink a lot of water.
Water breaks down uric acid into ammonia.
This happens very quickly.
Avoiding water causes uric acid to be reconstructed from ammonia.
This takes at least three days of avoiding water and other liquids.
