THE MORNING SHOW
with
Patrick Timpone
Joel Salatin
American farmer, lecturer, and author whose books include Folks, This Ain’t Normal, You Can Farm, and Salad Bar Beef
July 5, 2012
Salatin raises livestock using holistic methods of animal husbandry, free of potentially harmful chemicals, on his Polyface Farm in Swoope, Virginia, in the Shenandoah Valley. Meat from the farm is sold by direct-marketing to consumers and restaurants.
We really got the poop on ecologically balanced farming in this extended interview with Joel Salatin. This fun and informative show will surely light your fire if you’ve ever had even an inkling to own a couple of chickens or to stop consuming commercial meat. Joel tells how everything on his farm works together to keep the animals and land happy and healthy. This is a good one, don’t miss it!
