Greetings Rita, thank you for the wealth of information. Please give me your opinion concerning a super drink I’m trying to create for my husband’s colitis. I’m thinking hemp, wheat grass, and young lotus seeds. I live in southern Colorado. The conditions are great for first two but lotus seeds? I would greatly appreciate your feedback about my heal “all” solution…back to the drawing board!

Hello Melissa Thank you for your question. Hemp nuts are a great source of good fats and are usually easily digested by most people. Start the wheat grass in small amounts in order to test your husband’s digestive system. You can increase the amount of wheat grass juice he takes slowly by small increments. I am not familiar with young lotus seeds. Thank you Your friend in sprouting. Sprout Lady Rita

Rita was wonderful, interesting, and informative. Thank you for having her as a guest. I learned a lot and have been growing many varieties now, usually 3 different types at a time. :^D
