I just made a fresh, mostly fruit, green drink that is so good and satifying that I want to share it with you. I’ll give you exactly what I did and then at then I’ll p.s. some options and of course recipes were meant to be changed.
1/2 cucumber (peeled)
1 Roma tomato (regular is fine, a local farmer had these so I used them)
1 stalk of celery
1/4 of jalapeno pepper
3 inch of banana pepper
1/4 Cup Hemp Nut Seeds ( hempusa.org)
2 inch piece of seaweed
2 TBS Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 t kelp powder
1 t Premier Research Labs Nutritional Flakes
1 Cup filtered water
Yield 29 Oz.
I blended this all up in a Vita Mix and this machine makes into a smooth easily digestible liquid. A strong blender can be used and you can grind the Hemp Nut Seeds in coffee grinder if your blender doesn’t grind them up.
You want to chew this well anyway, don’t gulp it. Try to really chew up juices such as this, mixing it wilh saliva and not just dumping it all in your tummy. You can substitute Hemp seeds, (soft), widely available and I don’t recommend commercial nutritional yeast. Premier Research Labs, Round Rock Texas, is special, loaded with nutrients and is a primary grown yeast and does not promote candida growth.
You get the idea. Play with this basic idea. Cucumber, tomatoes, hemp and peppers are all botanical fruits and just what our body was designed to eat
There are good fats, protein,, amino acids, minerals and all kinds of goodies in this drink
I was finished with this lunch by the time I’ve finishe this. So much for chewing well.
