I am confident we all can make a list right now of "things" that we want to accomplish. First off, it is best to omit the word want from our vocabulary. The more appropriate way to say it is:
I am confident we all can make a list right now of "things" we will accomplish. And put a check mark next to the ones that are critical, and put a red check mark next to the ones critical for today. The best way I’ve found is not to think of any of them and chip away at what presents itself as the next best thing. I find that way I am relaxed, easily roll through the day and more information and assistance comes for the ones that just were not getting done.
I know that thinking about what "needs to get done" muddies the water and makes them more difficult to work through. It is as if we make them bigger than what they are, more energy, or something. The world and "things" do everything in their power to get our attention. Our attention is our power, and all and everything we have, it is who we are.
I continue to practice every moment putting my attention just where I choose.
All good things in all good time. How many of the really dreadful things we’ve all given energy to over the years have ever happened? There you go.
