Curiosity
Trader Scott’s Market Blog
I’ve enjoyed hearing the curiosity from many of you regarding why I include music with many of these blog posts. The answer is that I have been involved with music since the age of six. And there is so much similarity between both music structure and the technical structure of markets. Both music and markets move in relatively definable emotional waves. So for any of you that have musical training and understand music theory, it will help you greatly with understanding how markets move. And for the rest of the readers, I highly recommend that you pick up (or “repickup”) an instrument and learn how to play. Because (at any age) music can teach us a myriad of wonderful things, and will help you to understand markets to boot.
The next item of business – I’ve been discussing with the lovely Sharon some enhancements (hopefully) to the blog. I would like to hear feedback from you guys/gals @ [email protected]
Among these are: an open forum for a place to discuss investing/trading ideas and economic warnings, a place to explain to me how clueless that I am, etc.
A links/resources page, for example, to access educational articles about the technical aspect of markets, that I believe would be helpful. Also, a page of links to the occasional articles where the author actually shows that they understand markets.
And also, now the comments that you leave at the website will come straight to me, so, depending upon how busy that I am with the markets, I’ll be able to get you a reply as quickly as I can.
And lastly, I get a slew of insightful comments and questions from so many of you and I would like them to be shared with everyone. So, if you’d like to be “heard”, you can submit to me a guest post/posts to be put up at this blog. There are only three things to keep in mind.
#1 – You can write about anything related to markets and economics.
#2 – I do not care if you agree with my outlook/assessment.
#3 – In case you haven’t noticed, grammar and structure are important to me, but don’t stress over it. Language is a thing of beauty, let’s keep it that way.
And for those who would like to be included in our e-mail list for all updates: [email protected].
