The Midnight-Noon Law (dividing the 24-hour day into 12 Organ Times) has been used in Asia for centuries.

It’s been traced back to the Tang Dynasty (618-907 in China), but it’s definitely more ancient.

The Midnight-Noon Law – actually the 3:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Law – correlates 12 acupuncture meridians with the 12 Organ Times …

(1) Lung Time (3:00-5:00 a.m.) is the best time to heed your lungs and brain.

Your senses of hearing, touch (including pain), sight, taste, and smell peak at Lung Time.

Your body temperature is the lowest (usually somewhere around 97 degrees Fahrenheit).

The lung is the primary organ of the body’s rhythmic system, and, secondarily, the heart.

Without the lung’s pneumatic pressure, the heart and brain can’t generate hydraulic pressure.

Lung Time is by far the best time to meditate.

It’s called the Hour of Nectar in India.

This is the perfect time for so-called “soul travel” because the D and E layers of the ionosphere are totally “asleep.”

According to Science Service, “The Science of Breath,” Scientific American, Oct. 1936 …

“The word psychology, of Greek origin, means literally ‘science of the breath,’ and was given that meaning because the Greeks associated the breath with life itself. When they observed the breath leaving the body of a dying person, they felt that with it went the soul. So the science of breath meant the science of the soul.”

Large Intestine Time (5:00-7:00 a.m.) is the best time to heed your colon and anus.

A healthy person has the urge to defecate at exactly 7:00 a.m.

Actual peristalsis (as opposed to haustral shuttling) is restricted to three times a day, so Large Intestine Time is the ideal time to detoxify your colon.

(3) Stomach Time (7:00-9:00 a.m.) is the best time to heed the “poor little man in the pail” (stomach).

It’s the ideal time for breakfast. (Tree foods, of course.)

Breakfast skippers are prone to ulcers.

If you believe all that claptrap about H. pylori, I have some prime swampland in Florida to sell you.

It’s a dangerous time of the day to exercise.

(4) Spleen-Pancreas Time (9:00-11:00 a.m.) is the best time to heed your spleen and pancreas.

It’s the best time to take a test and for short-term memorization.

It’s also the best time to exercise to lose weight (especially if you drink warm liquids before and after exercising).

The genes for human hibernation and cancer “control” are in the pancreas.

20 percent of people have multiple spleens

(5) Heart Time (11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.) is the best time to heed your heart.

The so-called “heart attack line” in the ear is actually a kidney crease.

The kidney is a SHUNT for the heart.

According to An Index of Differential Diagnosis of Main Symptoms by Various Writers, Third Edition, 1918 …

“These [arteriosclerosis and granular kidney] can be discussed together, because it is extremely difficult to tell where one ends and the other begins. In both there is cardiac hypertrophy, increase in the blood pressure, prolongation of the first sound at the impulse, possibly a blowing systolic bruit there, a ringing or clanging aortic sound at the impulse, albuminuria, a tendency to heart failure as time goes on, with all its concomitant symptoms, and albuminuric retinitis. It is sometimes stated that the accentuation of the aortic second sound is due to local atheroma; but this is inaccurate, for atheroma by itself, though it may easily produce an aortic systolic bruit, does not accentuate the second sound; and when in the second right intercostal space there is a soft systolic bruit replacing the first sound, and a clanging second sound, the former indicates atheroma of the aortic valves, and the latter atherosclerosis. These two absolutely distinct vascular lesions often coincide in the same patient, atheroma affecting the aorta, and the coronary and cerebral arteries, whilst atherosclerosis affects the middle-sized arteries, especially of the splanchnic area. There is often extensive visceral arteriosclerosis when the radial artery does not feel abnormal to the fingers.”

(6) Small Intestine Time (1:00-3:00 p.m.) is the best time to heed your small intestines.

It’s the best time for lunch and a nap after eating. (Bush, vine, and grass foods, of course.)

Many countries know the value of an afternoon siesta.

A circadian “nap” rhythm peaks at Small Intestine Time, causing the pupils to automatically contract and oscillate.

It’s a dangerous time of the day to exercise.

A bodybuilder will actually lose muscle mass when exercising at this time.

(7) Urinary Bladder Time (3:00-5:00 p.m.) is best time to heed your bladder and urethra.

It’s the best time for long-term memory.

Bladder Time is also the best time to gain muscle mass by exercising, and the safest time to do it (especially if you drink cold liquids before and after exercising).

It’s the best time to run a marathon race or do endurance exercises.

It’s Red Muscle Cell Time.

Flexibility peaks at Bladder Time, so it’s a great time for Hatha Yoga.

It’s the best time for sperm capacitation and pregnancy too.

Bladder Time is an ideal time to hydrate. Watermelon juice or grape juice are suitable.

The Melon Rule is, “Eat ’em alone, or leave ’em alone.”

(8) Kidney Time is the best time to heed your kidneys and ureters.

Strength peaks at Kidney Time.

It’s White Muscle Cell Time.

It’s a perfect time for dental care. (The other almost-best times for dental care are Large Intestine Time, Heart Time, and Gall Bladder Time.)

Kidney Time is an ideal time to hydrate. Cranberry juice or grape juice are suitable.

(9) Circulation-Sex Time (7:00-9:00 p.m.) is the best time to heed your pericardium and reproductive organs.

It’s the ideal time to eat supper. (Root, seafood, cacti, and bromeliads, of course.)

Supper skippers are prone to sexually transmitted diseases and sexual disorders.

It’s an ideal time to do the Alligator Pose and/or the Frog-Leg Position.

(10) Triple Heater Time (9:00-11:00 p.m.) is the best time to heed your …

(a) hypothalamus

(b) thyroid gland

(c) parathyroid gland

(d) ultimobranchial gland

(e) three pairs of adrenal glands (adrenal medulla, zona reticularis, & adrenal cortex).

Triple Heater Time is an ideal time to do a theta brain wave makeover meditation – “redoing” your day in your mind.

Most couples have an argument and “break up” at this time.

A combination of pineapple juice (8 ounces), tequila (a tablespoon), and aloe vera (a teaspoon) is a timely libation for “broken heart syndrome.”

Your heart is in a “Reset Zone” after Circulation-Sex Time and before Gall Bladder Time.

(11) Gall Bladder Time (11:00 p.m.-1:00 a.m.) is your best time to heed your gall bladder (and the second best time to heed your brain).

Most gall bladder attacks begin at this time.

So do “nighttime heart attacks” which require an opposite treatment than “daytime heart attacks.”

A midnight heart attack is caused by excess oxygen, and a noon heart attack is caused by excess carbon dioxide.

A midnight heart attack is treated by “priming the pump” with carbon dioxide before administering oxygen.

A noon heart attack is treated by administering oxygen directly.

So now you know the optimum time to do the Buteyko Breathing Technique … and when NOT to do it.

(12) Liver Time (1:00-3:00 a.m.) is the best time to heed your liver (and placenta if you’re a pregnant woman).

This is the ideal time for sleep and regeneration.

Liver Time is Growth Hormone Time.

It’s also Melatonin Time, and melatonin is antigonadal and interferes with growth hormone.

You should have abandoned melatonin when you were ten years old (when 90 percent of all pineal tumors occur).

In the words of…

Edward R. Dewey & Og Mandino (Cycles: The Mysterious Forces That Trigger Events, 1971) wrote …

“It [your liver] has a fascinating twenty-four-hour cycle. During the day, while you are awake, it produces bile, which helps to emulsify and digest fat. At night, while you are resting, it breaks down glycogen into the glucose that you will need for energy to be your dynamic self when you awake.”

My e-books are available at …

    solarman111.com

Somehow my name has become associated with Adya Clarity promoted by Matt Bakos and Brian Clement.

I have NEVER had any association with the product or the two gentlemen promoting it.

My health approach is totally different than their approach, and never the twain shall meet.

I’m not dissing their product. I’m just saying that I would never use it or endorse it (and never have).

This answers a question or two from previous blogs “and more.” Thanks! :)

Do you feel any of these quotes could add to your muscle building tips?

The “resting after the pooled blood” seems to make sense, but may not fit the “it’s a gas!” paradigm?

Being empty makes sense too, but clashes with “always take breakfast” advice…

    – “When you rest immediately afterward, the blood that has pooled in your muscles is what builds the muscle. Anything you do or eat after exercising will take energy away from the repair and rebuilding process.”

    – Q: So the best way to become stronger is to do strength training in the morning (empty stomach) and then stretch and drink water and then lie down while the blood is still pooled. How exactly does that work?
A: The blood is what makes the muscle stronger. By resting you allow the body to take care of this. The body is only completely resting when intestines are empty, otherwise energy is spent on digestion/elimination. Resting is the #1 thing to build back after exercise and being empty at night allows maximum release of growth hormone.

By the way: I can’t find or remember you ever mentioning Intermittent Fasting?

I have hardly looked into it, but at first glance it seems to be used by guys wanting some lean muscle and some mean testosterone? :D

Since breakfast and eating on time is recommended, I’m guessing it’s not your highest choice for longevity…? ;)

Thanks for the info. It’s important to me to add to my data pool. :)

I used to read 15 or so bodybuilding and exercise magazines a month.

(I had to drive 80 miles one way to Hollywood to buy an Australian bodybuilding magazine.)

My friend Don Peters was my “coach” for about a year before “karma” stomped on me for a while.

Don is featured in the following video (1:35 to 1:56, etc.) …

      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kn6I1FGkB2E

      My conclusion …

      The MIND builds muscle.

Leroy Colbert swore you couldn’t build championship muscle without steak.

The Great Gama, the Mighty Atom, and Bill Pearl proved him wrong.

Some bodybuilders ate little protein, others ate 60-plus eggs a day.

They said about Joe Meeko, “If Joe had been invited to the Last Supper, it would still be going on!”

Positions of Flexion, Isometrics, High Intensity, FSB, Weider Method, Vince Gironda Method (no squats), and on and on and on …

I’ve seen amazing results from totally opposite techniques.

I personally couldn’t build “bat-wing” traps in the gym.

Swimming the breast-stroke for a half-hour at a time finally paid off big-time.

I commented to a bicycler with huge calves, “You obviously didn’t build those calves in a gym.”

He replied, “I built them bicycling, but you’ve got to know HOW to do it.”

Full-range extension was part of his method.

      Re: intermittent fasting.

Quality muscle can be done with complete fasting for long periods of time.

Unfortunately, it’ ultimately a case of robbing Peter to pay Paul.

        Thanks! :)

The quotes were from Luke Cummo on his former forum.
He’s very close with David Jubb and probably followed all his tips (the above, urine therapy, LifeFood, etc.)
A.o., I believe he’s a chef and (former) martial arts fighter and teacher still.

        Re: The MIND builds muscle

Makes me think of “The Power Of Your Subconscious Mind” by Joseph Murphy I have yet to read.
I heard you can build muscle (etc.) by visualising a gym session. But that it would probably be much quicker to do the real thing :D

        • October 2, 2013 @ 5:40 pm jean

Final quote. I wonder if it makes sense somehow?

Interesting that Jubb said he has put on muscle mass while only consuming Manuka Honey?
          > Luke Cummo: Yeah, he claims 5 lbs. w/o eating.

          • October 6, 2013 @ 1:49 am atomb

I’ve taught bodybuilders how to put on 5 pounds in ten minutes from drinking an 8-ounce glass of water after a workout … after I did it myself.

Well, my gain was only 4 pounds. :)

Hi Atom, what colours are good to use for an ad sign outside a bar to attract customers in ?
    Thx

    • October 2, 2013 @ 1:41 pm atomb

Use red, scarlet, and yellow colors, and phallic imagery appropriate to the phallic stage (3-6 years) of psychosexual development.

Most serious drinkers have an Oedipus complex.

Use saber imagery and portraits of women who look sexy but “unavailable.”

Dopamine is NOT the organic chemical of pleasure.

It’s the chemical of being DENIED pleasure

The juggernaut of U.S. culture is fueled by yuppie boxes and “one chance in a million” organic chemistry.

  4. October 2, 2013 @ 11:56 am martin

So any methods or ways to connect with the projectionist, let’s say for example “within” ?? :)

    • October 2, 2013 @ 2:51 pm atomb

Go within to reach the delta brain wave state of consciousness without an object.

Black is the only “color” that has NO frequency.

Time Conscious Eating, the “rose family” of foods, and lithium-containing foods assist with the process. :)

  5. October 2, 2013 @ 8:55 pm John

“….and phallic imagery appropriate to the phallic stage (3-6 years) of psychosexual development..” – what kind of image ?

    • October 6, 2013 @ 1:51 am atomb

You can’t go wrong with Vargas girls. ;)
