THE REAL WORLD OF MONEY

Fred Dashevsky is from Long Island New York. He attended University of New York at Albany and studied psychology, political science, and economics. Fred started in the coin business in 1984 in Northern New Jersey opening several offices in Southern California in the mid 80s. He returned to the east coast in 1989 and opened Hilton head office for SDL Inc. in 1991 with partner Andrew Gause.

We kick off the show digging into the fine points of interest rates, what they mean to us and how it all works

If one word was used to describe the critical factor in a fiat currency as the Dollar it is Confidence

The whole market and economy, as Fred puts it is “Tightly wound”.  Just not a lot of room for error.

Interest on the debt, if one can believe it…and you can is 389 Billion and projected to be a total of 7 Trillion over the next ten years

SDL is offering two attractive packages for show specials of numismatic coins…listen and see if you may want one

Listener  Sean tells of a reverse mortgage scheme he is going to do in the North West.  We talk about taking money out of retirement and pension funds and lamp shades, uh..Bit coin

Fred contends that if Bitcoin ever becomes a real problem for the Boys they will regulate it and try to crush it

Investing in Block Chain technology may be a good move at this writing

We hear of a person who just spent $96,000 on a new truck.  Autos are a depreciating asset and the very worse to finance

Some emails:

Does Fred see a problem with all of the empty shopping centers and office buildings collapsing.?

I find it interesting that smart meters are rolling out the same time as electric cars.

And then I see… Sothebys has just hawked a Monet for a mere $110.7 Million. Wouldn’t ya like to be so liquid that you could afford to buy a painting that only ten peeps in the world could afford to take off your hands… if ya suddenly became illiquid?

I’ll stick with Morgans and St Gaudins.

Does Fred know how Andrew’s 4 presidents video is coming?
Love the show.
