Inclined Bed Therapy
17 years ago Andrew made a phenomenal discovery in circulation and how gravity acts upon fluid density changes that take place in all fluids where water is evaporated. In trees (Where this theory began) evaporation from the leaves alters the density of sap. In the body, the warm lungs and airways provide the same density changes in the blood and other fluids. It was not long before it became obvious that posture was incredibly more important than anyone could imagine. To make use of these density changes and allow them to assist the circulation all we needed to do was to manage our posture.
This was a Eureka moment of such magnitude it went off the scale for Andrew and instantly gave birth to Inclined Bed Therapy.

Brilliant and yet not mainstream knowledge and I don’t understand why?
Gravity driven circulation:-
Evaporation drives circulation by loss of water which in turn condenses all salts and sugars in in the remaining water
This circulation affects Plants, Trees and Humans and turns the current understanding in science on it’s head!
this is ground breaking science which should be researched!

oh yes, i remember finding Andrew a few years ago – I did get the risers for the head of my bed (plastic cup thingies) – when i was all drugged up for heart ailments and felt like i had to sleep sitting up, as being on a “flat bed” with just pillows was not enough. Even though the risers have only put the head of the bed a few inches, it makes the bed feel “normal” to me, and has really helped me recover – no drugs, and yes, taking the organic sulfur – always clear sinuses, never clog up at night, i am telling you, what a pleasure it is to sleep now!!! thank you Andrew, thank you Patrick :) h

It was difficult to include everything, for example, a study has been conducted into Diabetes and the results clearly show that IBT substantially reduces blood sugar levels.

I have been doing this for a while since it was mentioned by the ‘dressed to kill’ author earlier this year and have certainly felt improvement generally and am significantly less groggy on waking. Fab!

You can use a concrete block and plywood with foam rubber stapled to it for an instant inclined bed, easy to store.
I’m trying this now, will tell you how it works.
Thank you for this radio program. I’m always learning great stuff here. Don’t agree with all of it, but that’s part of learning too.

Cab, thanks for giving IBT a test drive.
Sononnymous, did you notice a change in puffyness around the eyes on rising from IBT? My wife and I went to visit our Granddaughter early one morning, knocking them out of bed. My son, his partner and our delightful Amy May all had puffy faces. Years later since they had our old inclined bed, no more puffyness whatsoever. Amy slept on an incline from birth for 2 years, then for some reason was placed flat again? Now we are all using IBT.

Removed feet off one end , chocked the other end and feet in middle left.. 8 inch incline.. Both me and wife instantly feel an effect! Energy flow.. like chi movement!

Sandra is 60 years young and has suffered severe pain, swelling and repeat surgeries on a damaged knee since she was hit by a motorcycle aged 13. When Sandra walked, you could see the pain on her face, she had a pronounced limp, causing her to lean forwards. She frequently collapsed when her affected knee gave way. She was diagnosed with arthritis, which added to her mobility problems. Simply walking on level ground has been a challenge and as we all know our age only makes our problems much worse, or does it?
This is what I wrote after seeing Sandra run instead of limping: Just saw Lucy’s mum after 10 days of Inclined Bed Therapy running a short distance. Lucy commented that her mum can’t run and indeed 10 days ago she was struggling to walk upright, stooped position, painful hip, swollen knee and limps with the pain. Her posture is normally bent forward. She frequently collapsed when her legs gave way. She also has osteoporosis and arthritis.
Her problems developed after being hit by a motorcycle age 13 and for all of these years she has been in pain, which she added was worsening with age. She has had surgery on her knee to remove cartilage but this did not stop the pain or swelling.
After 10 days of IBT:
Her swollen knee is normal now and she has no pain for the first time since the accident. Her hip is no longer painful. and she is comfortable standing upright. She still limps but added it’s just a habit that’s going to take a while to get out of. On rising from her flat bed, she was aching and it took an hour to get herself mobile. Now she wakes up and is good to go. She is writing everything down that changes. Her posture is now upright, although I did notice her going into the stooped position but she automatically stood upright again. Absolutely amazing to see these phenomenal changes at first hand.
Further improvements:
Inclined Bed Therapy has restored a prolapsed bladder in a lady age 60.
7 June 2013 was the last time I met with Lucy’s mum, who is 60, and a relatively new IBT’r, she was in a lot of discomfort.
For several years she has been troubled with regular urine infections, bloating abdomen and severe discomfort. During our conversation, I learned that she had a prolapsed bladder, which was bulging out. Her G.P. Confirmed this and she was advised that she needed surgery to correct the problem. She had been making terrific progress with her major problems and if you remember, I wrote about seeing her running, something she could not have imagined ever doing again.
Today 4 July 2013, we met again. She couldn’t hold back how her prolapse had gone back all by itself without doing any exercise. Now she says it’s as if it never happened and I feel marvellous, no more abdominal discomfort, no more bloating and no more urine infections. She said she can’t wait to go back to report this to her GP and tell him all about IBT and what it has done for her.
Her bladder now empties completely, whereas before she would retain urine, which led to her infections, a common occurrence with a prolapsed bladder.
I must admit, that when I learned about her prolapse, I though now here’s a condition that IBT can’t help with. Obvious I thought, gravity is responsible for pulling the bladder down, which admittedly now sounds a contradiction in itself. After all almost all of the prolapses that occur do so while using a flat bed.
Watching her walk today across a busy road and back, no one could ever imagine how much her gait and posture has changed. She walks normally and quickly instead of a severe limp which she has suffered with since being hit by a motorcycle when very young. Her shoulders are almost level and she admits she needs to forget how to limp now. On bending down, she noticed that her once painful knee causes her no pain, something she could not have envisaged happening. Sandra would not entertain kneeling before she tilted her bed, now she can.
She confirms that her strength and energy has increased and is increasing more as the weeks go by and people around her are noticing, especially the absence of pain on her face.

DR. FLETCHER,
PLEASE HELP, I have a odd or mysterious problem IT HAS BEEN OVER 10 YEARS OF SUFFERING WITHOUT ANY QUALITY LIFE. I SIT IN A CHAIR ALL OF THIS TIME. I HAVE ELECTRICITY IN MY LEGS AND FEET AND BLOOD POOLS INTO MY LEGS IF I STAND SO I DON’T. I HAD OVER 50 DIFFERENT SYMPTOMS SINCE THE FIRST DAY THIS HAPPENED AND OVER THE YEARS I HAVE A FEW BUT STILL DON’T HAVE A LIFE. WHEN I LAY DOWN TO SLEEP I HAVE LIKE A HEART BEATING SENSATION IN THE UPPER PART OF MY BODY THAT DOESNOT STOP. I JUST NOW STARTED TO WALK A LITTLE AROUND THE HOUSE WITHOUT FEELING LIKE I WOULD PASS OUT. I AM REALLY IN NEED OF HELP. ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE APPRECIATED. JO

As the research is about tilting beds for better sleep and health, have you managed to sleep inclined and if so has it helped?
