THE MORNING SHOW
with
Patrick Timpone
Brian Clement, L.N.C.
Co-Director of Hippocrates Health Institute
A typical American growing up in the New Jersey/New York area, Brian likes to joke that he was a pioneer in the field of obesity—he was fat even before many Americans were fat! Raised in an Irish household on the standard American diet of meat, processed foods and sugary sodas, he was unfit and gasping for air every few steps. When he was 20 years old, he was dating a girl whose best friend’s boyfriend was 30—and a vegetarian. Despite the fact he had been more or less educated by his family that the body would die without animal-based foods, the lure of an influential peer inspired him to give up meat in one fell swoop. For the first year and a half, he kept his vegetarian diet a secret from his family. Yet after losing 120 pounds and experiencing the difference in his health, he came out of the proverbial closet (much to his family’s dismay!) and became a complete vegan three years later.
Show Highlights:
-Hippocrates Institute has been around for 60 years. Brian has been involved for 45 of those years.
-Brian shares what he has for breakfast and why a midday meal should be the biggest of the day.
-Are there downsides to sprouts?
-Broccoli sprouts 50 times more effective than other sprouts at preventing cancer, because of their sulfurophane content.
-Dr. Williams in Oregon – Linus Pauling Foundation. Good info source.
-Every seed has a natural pesticide. Enzyme inhibitors destroyed in soaking and sprouting process. Seeds have 8 times more nutrition when sprouted.
-Seeds have an awareness and know what they need. Grains, other than rice, soaked for 8 hours, are at their peak in 2 days. Sunflower, wheatgrass, pea green peaks in 7 days. Mung beans do better in the dark, in temperate climates, planting deep, pushing against the weight of soil. Soak them for 12 hours, sprout for 5.
-See all of Brian’s books at Hippocratesinst.org. His LifeForce book is about the pharmacy of sprouts.
-2 oz. of wheatgrass juice (8-10 oz. of grass) nutritionally equivalent to 5 lbs. of vegetables.
-Sprouts don’t only provide nutrients. They have the ability to provide the electromagnetic frequency that every cell works at. Every creature inherently eats a raw food diet.
-Something dead never gives you life. Disease-preventing elements in raw foods are no longer there after cooking.
-Only US male weightlifter at Rio Olympics has been a vegan since 2014.
-Brian shares his story of how he became a plant-based eater and weightlifter.
-Every human being can do a Hippocrates Institute Living Foods diet. Venus Williams is an example of what the diet can do. Need to do weightlifting for protein to put muscles on the body.
-Living Food for Optimum Health – Brian’s top pick of his 20 books.
-Deep Ocean water good for sprouts. 5% TDS recommended.
-Causes of GI diseases – eating things we were never meant to eat. Long intestinal tract is meant for carbohydrates. Meats take 3 days to go through, needs high acid to digest. GMO foods – Jeffrey Smith good authority. GMO high fructose corn syrup perforates intestinal tract.
-Cultured foods, prebiotics, and probiotics good. Saunas good. 87% more heavy metals come out in infrared, but also minerals. Take ionic minerals like food in plant-based raw foods. Sea vegetables good.
-Brown fats are good, fed by oleic acid. White fat – mostly bad, from saturated fat. Andreas Seed Oils – good. Chia, flax, walnut oils – good. A little oil is healthy.
-Free conference, The Real Truth About Health, in Orlando, FL, Sept. 9-18. 30 experts.
-Weston A. Price didn’t promote meat eating, did promote raw foods.
-How does a raw food diet affect tooth enamel? Modern hybrid fruits not recommended. Need mineral rich veges. Carrots and beets have too much sugar.
-Angel Juicer, Green Star, Green Power – double auger juicers, good machines, slow-grinding.
-Under normal conditions, need half your body weight in ounces per day. Add 10 more ounces with sauna use. Add more for sweaty exercise.
-Number one oil for men is pumpkin seed oil. Black cumin oil is good. Chia, flax, hemp oils good.
-Bridge of raw gourmet foods helps when starting a raw foods diet.
-Blending destroys nutrition. Sunflower greens, mung bean sprouts, clover sprouts – recommended for every day.
-What about Dr. Joel Wallach’s recommendation of 6 eggs a day?
-1 hr./day of aerobic exercise a day is perfect.

Well-like him or hate him Trevor-he was cleared on all charges http://doubtfulnews.com/2015/03/hippocrates-health-institute-director-ordered-to-cease-and-desist/ My question is: Why do we attack a natural healer when a patient dies from cancer, but we don’t attack oncologists who lose cancer patients everyday?
August 18, 2016 @ 11:38 am Oriana
Trevor, you need to dig a little deeper. That misnamed “Science-Based Medicine” website is as fraudulent as Snopes.com – both known to host deliberate disinformation. Here’s one example: http://www.naturalnews.com/054931_Dr_David_Gorski_liar_vaccine_propaganda.html
If you are a regular listener to this show, you should know by now that Big Pharma routinely and covertly tries to discredit all real healers who fall outside of their profit model. And Patrick’s comment is right on.

I agree! Not the articles but come on… No meat (grass fed), no eggs, no fruit… That man is crazy and I want to see his body because what I have seen so fare is that he is to fat but he has to many closes on. Also I do not now what is going on with David Wolve but his hands are also to fat and also to fat under his shirt and I think that all that greens en veggies are not good for Men. Maybe for women but surely not for the man.

Kevin,
Take a look at this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Pw5K3rBNjc There are a fair number of people that don’t eat meat or eggs. It’s not an easy thing to do in our society today by any means so a person who, for instance, goes raw foods vegan, has to have a lot of emotional strength and be more aware of what to eat than those who eat concentrated foods (like meat, eggs). I know many who are raw foods vegan. I am a meat eater I eat a lot of veggies. I spent 1.5 years being a vegetarian and months being a vegan to see if it would benefit my health. It was worth doing as I learned a lot about proper food combining, and what does and doesn’t work for me, and the real state of my health. For me I found that having some meat and mostly veggies and some fruits worked for me. I have met vegans who are really glowing with health and those that are not. Just like even meat eaters, you find those that are healthy and those that are not. One size does not fit all. Everyone gets to choose what works (and sometimes what does not work) for them. It all might sound odd to you if this is one of your first exposures to it to veganism, but if you keep an open mind you can learn a lot from an opposing view to your own.

WHAT A WEALTH OF HEALTH KNOWLEDGE.
WE NEED TO HEAR MORE FROM HIM.
ONE HOUR INTERVIEW WAS INSUFFICIENT.

Brian: “Isn’t it great to get old?”
Beats the alternative! Every day above ground is a good day. I am completing my 83rd trip around the sun.
This interview is better than gold because you can’t eat gold. Thank to you both for this valuable info. Anyone who questions it better have the same number of years’ study and experience under his belt (or be a paid troll…go fish somewhere else, please).
May I suggest soaking grains, sprouts, seeds, nuts–everything!–in Structured Water?

I attend Brian Clement’s seminars every so often since I live in South Florida. I also visit Hippocrates for their open house and events. Its an awesome place. Brian is vibrant, very trim and is full of energy. So is his wife. He is very passionate about what he does. So although his way of life may not be for you it certainly works for him !!

My suspicion is that the vegan-promoting globalists ensured Clement was let off the charges as part of their agenda to dumb-down and sicken. Veganism is hard to pursue as only a few specialist strains of bacteria produce vitamin B12 naturally; no native cultures were ever vegan, and even vegetarianism was rare. If someone has cancer, the concentrated nutrition in animal products is essential to build up bodily strength.
