Brian Hanley has papers in biosciences, economics, terrorism, and policy. He obtained his PhD with honors from UC Davis, has a bachelors degree in computer science, is a multiple entrepreneur and lectured for years to the MBA program at Santa Clara University on terrorism and international business matters. He founded Butterfly Sciences in 2009, to do translation of research into gene therapies to benefit health span. He has a current clinical trial in progress for testing a gene therapy in humans that has multiple beneficial effects.

I have no doubt that this is an intelligent man however he has no idea of how to convey his knowledge into layman terms.
