Re: I’m slightly acidic. Should I eliminate coffee from my morning meal?

Coffee acidity is a coffee industry term independent of pH.

An apple in your mouth is more acidic than coffee.

Caffeine is a potent alkaloid balanced by caffeic acid to wind up almost perfectly neutral at the end of the line.

The acidic apple ends up with an alkaline ash.

Caffeic acid and its quinic acid derivative, chlorogenic acid, can be found in almost all plant tissues, and in much higher amounts than coffee in many spices, including spearmint.

99% of all foods begin in acidic form to kill bacteria and then deposit an alkaline ash to protect against acidic tumors and growths.

The pH of saliva and urine give inaccurate readings of pH because they measure only a limited amount of the fluids in the body and none of the solid matter, especially the lipids that determine pH in the first place.

However, some folks are admittedly sensitive to certain of the hundreds of ingredients in various brands and blends of coffees, so, if you’re having a negative reaction, switch to another hormone booster like carob, tamarind paste, and maple syrup, etc.

Theodore Roosevelt drank a gallon of coffee a day, but I don’t recommend it. :(
