Show Highlights:
-To treat a disease, we need to know what the risk factors are for getting the disease. Which are controllable, which are uncontrollable? Control the controllable ones – e.g. weight, exercise, stress, supplements, spirituality.
-Learning from our “spiritual walk†on this earth.
-Attitude of gratitude. Most religious epiphanies occur when we’re down and out.
-The good in things going wrong.
-Miracles happen everyday – we need to be awake to see them.
-Tip for going to sleep: For every letter of the alphabet, think of something you’re grateful for that starts with that letter. Change item every night.
-A lot of energy is used on digestion. Fasting relieves the body of the energy drain for digestion, 2-3 days recommended.
-Asking God to remove addiction to sugars and carbohydrates.
-Using medicine to get people to a place they wouldn’t get to otherwise. E.g. using Phase 2 starch blocker for weight control, herbs for high cholesterol, immune system.
-Heal your body, and then you don’t need the crutches.
-Male pattern baldness – hair loss is usually permanent.
-Osteoarthritis recommendation – healthy balance of animal proteins (4-6 oz., 2-3x/day), greens, avoid carbonated beverage at all cost, Celadrin, turmeric, hops, ginger. See Dave’s osteoarthritis article at his blog at herbalpharmacist.com.
-Listener asks about numbness in toes – what is God telling me? Ask God for knowledge and clarity. God allows bad things to happen to us, for good reasons.
and so much more!!
