Truth About Organ Donation

You’ve probably heard and read a great deal of positive publicity about the benefits of the organ donor program – information which is provided by those in the medical profession deeply involved in the so-called “gift of life”. But when presenting their information they deliberately leave us believing the donor is already truly dead before the organs are taken. They intentionally omit the in-depth explanation of the necessary procedure a donor must undergo WHILE STILL ALIVE.

IN ACTUALITY, IT IS THE EXCRUCIATING VITAL ORGAN REMOVAL
PROCEDURE WHICH CAUSES TRUE DEATH OF THE DONOR.

Dr. Paul A. Byrne is a neonatologist and a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics. He is past President of the Catholic Medical Association. He is the producer of the film Continuum of Life and the author of Life, Life Support and Death, Beyond Brain Death, and Brain Death is Not Death. Dr. Byrne has presented testimony on life-death issues to nine state legislatures beginning in 1967. He opposed Dr. Jack Kevorkian on Cross-Fire, and has appeared on Good Morning America, the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) documentary, “Are the donors really dead?”, and public Television in Japan. He is the author of many articles in medical and law journals and the lay press.

Show Highlights:

-Dr. Byrne currently trying to help with Israel Stinson case – a 2 yr. old Sacremento boy declared brain dead after asthma attack, but showing responses.

-Brain dead label = brain washing = fake death

-When brain swells, it gets quiet, and then stops making hormones such as TSH. Thyroid and other hormones must be replenished for recovery.

-Baby Joseph was successfully restored to health by Dr. Byrne after being labeled brain dead.

-Israel given only sugar water and electrolytes for 6 weeks. Hasn’t been given protein or fat.

-He needs to be treated, but no doctor willing to treat him. Medical and legal system wants to kill Israel so they can harvest his organs. Have labeled him a dead body so they don’t have to feed him.

-Definition of life. Courts and society ought to find ways to ensure that those that are alive aren’t called dead. Prior caution in declaring death until 1968 when a committee at Harvard came up with brain dead definition. Brain dead definition enables doctors to stop treating patients and to harvest organs.

-Now on a ventilator and has an endotracheal tube. Parents want a tracheostomy and feeding tube placed so they can care for him at home. No doctor or hospital willing.

-Many Medicare dollars go to organ transplants.

-Dr. Byrne’s opinion of legal documents regarding organ transplant. Laws set up not to protect life but to get your organs. Accepted medical standards for determination of death are variable.

Prior appeals have delayed it for 6 weeks, but court order says Israel’s ventilator can be removed on May 20, 2016.

-To not have ventilator removed, Israel must have demonstration of consciousness, pass numerous reflex tests, and take in a breath. He’s already failed 3 apnea tests. These tests cause brain swelling and acidosis.
