As a long time woodworker dealing with dust all the time I have to say you missed the point with the woman with lung issues. The first answer is YES, you should wear a dust mask. All of your suggestions are great for those occasions when the mask fails. But you don’t have to clear out what you don’t get in the lungs in the first place. Wear a mask!
