Meridian and Patrick talk about pigs feet soup.  Yum !

Some emails:  I think I had the flu over the weekend and I was sick in bed and could barely eat while I had it. I happened check my weight the day before and a couple days after being sick, and I lost 9 pound in 6 days! I’m overweight, so I hope I can keep it off, now that I’m feeling better. Also, some more subtle things I’ve noticed compared to before I was sick are: more flexibility in my tendons, better breathing function and less cardiac symptoms. My only guess is that my reduced caloric intake helped relieve some inflammation in my body. Any thoughts?

We can make collagen by cooking pigs feet or chicken feet for hours…but I’d like to know what y’all recommend as a source for collagen.

So Meridian..give it up..we want the pigs feet soup recipe!!! Can you get it from your soup maker for us?

Patrick was talking about his workout program and this came in from listener Steve:

You might try drinking a beverage of gelatin and vitamin C before exercise to produce more collagen:

100% Increase in Exercise-Induced Collagen Synthesis With Cheap, Yet Effective 15g Gelatin + 200mg Vitamin C Stack

Mix as a drink and consume one hour before a workout.

Does Meridian have ideas for irregular cycles.
