Show Highlights:

-Which animals have you run into during the day? What does it mean? Dr. Massey talks about totem meanings and how we are blessed by our animal encounters

-Processing trauma with the butterfly hug

-Working with trigger points to release trauma and work with pain

-Meridian Grace gives a new mother some great tips on raising a healthy child and how she can nurture her body for optimal health

-Are hallucinogenic drugs ever a good idea?

-A listener comments on using Ayahuasca:I heard you talking about psychedelics and getting to the core emotional issues that are directing one’s life on a path we might not want. I noticed a link Sharon put up on the show page about Ayahausca and depression. And while the article was very informative, readers of the article might think Ayahausca’s only use might be for depression, and that couldn’t be further from the truth. Imagine Recall Healing on steroids.

I’ve had multiple opportunities to experience the healing benefits of Ayahausca and how it allows users to get to the emotional issues they’ve stuffed deep within their being. And what is most amazing is many of these emotional issues belong to others. I discovered I was carrying the emotions belonging to others from events I did witness and even those events I didn’t witness. One of the greatest benefits of these healing sessions is they’re done in a group setting, and afterwards hearing others speak of their experience during the sharing session. You learn so much listening to them when they talk about their plant medicine journey. And if you’re lucky, you’ll be able to experience Ayahausca in conjunction with San Pedro. It is said that Ayahausca stirs up the garbage, and San Pedro cleans up the mess. So true. I was lucky enough to have a Shaman and his assistant who were unbelievable at helping move the negative energy out of the
body. And with each successive healing session, I achieve a greater level of consciousness and I am more at peace than ever.

The purging during Ayahausca sessions is nothing more than the body getting rid of negative energy by “letting go”, of not holding on any longer. Many doing Ayayhausca have trouble letting go of these emotions they’re holding, because in a weird way they believe they’re receiving benefit from it. And for others, they don’t want to deal with those stuffed emotions.

I feel extremely fortunate to have discovered these plant medicines and I look forward to the chance to experience these medicines again.
