The Effectiveness of Classical Homeopathy

Shahram Ayoubzadeh first studied conventional medicine and became an MD in 1986 and then specialized in Infectious Diseases and Tropical medicine. His doctoral thesis on the healing effect of the doctor-patient relationship led to in-depth study of the placebo effect and eventually to mind-body medicine, which has defined his career. This led him to get a degree as a Naturopathic Doctor from Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and then specialize in homeopathy. He has been the Clinical Director of Integral Health Clinic since 1991 and the founder of the Canadian Homeopathic Institute, where he has taught aspiring homeopaths for over a decade.

    I thought I was going to lose my dog about 2 mos. ago. She just seemed generally miserable, wasn’t eating, and had become incontinent. With an ultrasound, we discovered that she had a mass on her liver, and of course they recommended the usual cancer therapies: biopsy, chemo, radiation. Because I would do none of these for myself if similarly diagnosed, I wasn’t about to have any of it done to her. Surprisingly, the dr. that did the ultrasound, upon hearing my views on natural healing, told me of a veterinary homeopath she knew of. Well, 2 mos. later, my 13 yr. old girl is doing better than she was well BEFORE we saw the signs of the liver mass. I’m a true believer in homeopathy now!
