Dr. Stephanie Seneff
When Food Is Poison
GMO’s and Glyphosate: Slow Poison Over Time
Stephanie Seneff, PhD, is a Senior Research Scientist at MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. She has a Bachelor’s degree from MIT in biology with a minor in food and nutrition, and her PhD from MIT is in computer science. Dr. Seneff is the first author of several recently published papers on theories proposing that dietary deficiencies in critical nutrients such as sulfur, taurine, zinc, cobalamin, choline, etc., as well as insufficient sun exposure, compounded by chronic exposure to multiple environmental toxins, can explain many modern diseases/conditions, such as autism, heart disease, obesity, asthma, gastrointestinal disorders, arthritis and Alzheimer’s disease. She has also spoken on these topics in several youtube videos as well as in radio interviews and at conferences on nutrition and health both in the U.S. and internationally.
Show Highlights:
-How glyphosate on crops effects the health of those who eat them
-There’s 3 main issues with GMOs
1)It chelates important nutrients causing deficiencies 2)Amino acids become diminished 3) Messes up the enzymes
-The importance of sulfur and why we have have become so deficient in it
-The relationship between sulfur and cholesterol….this is fascinating
-Autism rates are right in step with glyphosate usage
-Sulfate deficiency is seen in the brains of autistic children
-Glyphosate: Todays’ DDT. When will they come to their senses and outlaw it?
-Great foods we should all be eating
and so much more!!!

This was a such fabulous hours information, fast moving info-nutrient dense…yum!
This lady is a credit to the scientific community, her stance on the cholesterol myth and Statins was a delight to hear from a PHd.

wow ! yes yes yes ! (long time listener, first time commenter) this dr. was Amazing. really would like to hear more from her in the future. intelligent, listenable & fascinating information. cutting edge info from a scientist. wow.
(what a Contrast to the next guest whose infomercial schtick is getting real old real quick. stop trying to sell me your crap lady ! stop with the ridiculous over-enthusiastic quoting of mainstream media ‘studies’. i would pay to NOT hear her. yes yes yes, we know about spirulina. yes we know about pavo what’s his name. who is she preaching to ?)
the good news: such a delight to hear dr. seneff speak so lucidly on glyphosates, sulphates, GMOs, cholesterol & autism. please have her back soon. she’s prompted me to do some research & have a look at the paper she co-wrote & cited.
i like her approach. she gives the horror of it all straight—but she also offers up some solutions. nice to know that someone who is in the middle of things (there at pharma endowed MIT) & who is not afraid to tell it like it is.
very sustaining to know there are good thinkers & researchers out there. more like this patrick & sharon. very much appreciated ! keep up the good work.

Patrick,
It appears that the best form of Vit.C is ascorbate not ascorbic acid. Try to look at Perque’s vit. C, powder or capsule and listen to Russell Jaffe MD explaining the difference and it is made with no corn or soy.
Perhaps you can do a C flush, does wonder.

This is a true horror. IOW, you can eat right, take supplements, do detox — and it will all be for nothing, because the glyphosate will prevent the body from detoxing. So you may as well just eat all the fast food and soda and anything you want — you are going to be full of toxins anyway thanks to glyphosate. I am not happy to hear about this. Does Dr. Seneff say that there is any way to detox this stuff out of the body? Are we going to have to use epsom salts all our lives to detox the stuff out that can’t be gotten out normally because of the glyphosate? What can we do to get THAT out of our body? I live surrounded by farmers who grow corn through weedkiller, and I’m sure the stuff must be in the groundwater. There is no organic food for me to buy that’s close enough to get to it. I guess sprouting seeds would be an answer to getting some living vegetables into the diet, to avoid the glyphosate loaded GMO poison food. But how do we get the glyphosate out?
I am horrified to find this out.

I searched the Internet for an hour trying to find something on how to detox the glyphosate out of our body — could find NOTHING.

What about Epsom salts baths?

am i wrong in thinking that taking sulfur—boosting sulfur in the body—while it might not completely mitigate the glyphosate damage—might at least go a little way toward boosting the body’s ability to compensate for the interruption that the glyphosates (according to dr.s) cause ? plus the usual precautions, checking vit D levels both supplement & real sun exposure & trying to eat clean etc.
unsure here. yes, it would be nice to do a show on What Can Be Done. thanks patrick & sharon.

Fascinating interview with Dr. Seneff! She has amazing insights into many of the health issues that are so catastrophic today. If glyphosate is in the air we breathe, in the water we drink, and the food we eat then how can we detox this poison out of our systems? I try to eat as much organic and natural foods as possible but that’s still no guarantee that it’s not getting in. I would love to hear a follow-up show where she explains some practical steps that we can take to help rid ourselves of this evil. Do saunas help excrete glyphosate? How about coffee enemas? I already take MSM as a source of organic sulfur. I would like to try the epsom salts she talked about. Thanks for a great show!

Big thank you to Patrick McGean and Dr. Richard Shump for recommending Dr. Seneff to appear on the show.
