The Health Benefits of Using Colloidal Silver, Copper & Gold

If you haven’t heard of colloidal silver, you will soon enough if you’re on the lookout for alternative therapies to common health issues, such as a sinus infection or a cold.

Most health food stores and pharmacies stock several brands of colloidal silver, and, of course, you can find a find a vast amount of information about colloidal silver benefits on the Internet. Unfortunately, the information out there is confusing as many sources have conflicting opinions.

Richard Davies and Samuel Etris of The Silver Institute, in a 1996 monograph entitled “The Development and Functions of Silver in Water Purification and Disease Control”, discussed how silver acts as a catalyst.

Silver, in its atomic state, has the capacity to absorb oxygen and act as a catalyst to bring about oxidation. Employing a simple catalytic reduction/oxidation reaction, colloidal silver will react with any negative charge presented by the organism’s transport or membrane proteins and deactivate them.

-3 types of Colloidal Silver:  ionic, nano particle, and monoatomic.  Ionic is a dark color because particles are too large.  Most manufacturers make nano, which is 3 million times smaller than ionic.  Monoatomic is 3 million times smaller than nano.
