While in medical school, she was concerned that patients were not improving with the therapies she was being taught. She was told that the patients were poor and due to financial and educational limitations, were often not able to comply with therapy. Also, present methods were not perfect; half of everything being taught was not beneficial. The medical school staff did not know which half and ongoing research would sort it out. (READ MORE)
