Extreme fad diets kill. Andreas Moritz was such a victim of obsessive fruitarianism and veganism: far too much damaging fructose without the healing fats and proteins of organic eggs, fish and meat of our evolutionary past.

In fact, Andreas insisted on eating butter (esp. with veggies) so he’s not missing anything there (EFAs are a myth). You can e.g. look at the work of Robert Morse or Ray Peat proving every day how healing fructose can be — and I’ve experienced it. To get a fuller picture on “our evolutionary past,” also read Tony Wright (http://leftinthedark.org.uk/book).
Acc. to Atom Bergstrom / Adano Ley, some blood groups *can* be very successful fruitarians / veganists. But it is not for everyone and it does not mean he supports the work of Peter d’Adamo (he does not).
Since you’re talking fad diets, first that springs to mind would be “paleo” for me… ;-)

Good interview but I was disappointed that that Dr Robert Morse’s work was not mentioned as he is the main source of knowledge which he put together through many years of clinical experience.
