Are we drinking too much water ?

We’ve had Konstantin on our show many times talking about getting your gut in order and everything related to digestive disorders. Today we will learn why drinking 8 glasses of water per day my not be in our best interest. This should be an interesting conversation. Join us!

He developed considerable expertise in forensic nutrition, a new field of science that investigates the connections between supposedly healthy foods and nutrition-related disorders, such as irritable bowel syndrome, chronic constipation, colon cancer, diabetes, and obesity.

GutSense.org and Fiber Menace are the outcomes of his 20-year-plus journey toward lasting health, enduring happiness, and ageless longevity.

The role water plays in digestion is critical and certainly less is better than more when it comes to the stomach

Most of us don’t allow enough time between meals for the food to digest properly even in “perfect” conditions

Virtually all of the studies are co funded with great influence from big pharma, the AMA and The FDA

The eight glasses of pure water recommended along with food and other beverages is too much liquid.

Most acid refulx, heart burn, GERD and other classic stomach issues epidemic in the World is wrong foods at the wrong time in the wrong amounts.

The body not producing proper stomach acids “with age” as is preached by natural doctors is a lifestyle cause and not an age cause.  It just happens more in more mature people because they’ve had more time to mess up their digestion

Constipation is not an under hydration issue as argued by most natural docs, it is too much fiber and too much water among others

Fasting on water or white rice and butter can heal the stomach completely in a few days..reboot the digestion

Sean from Seattle and we have a productive conversation about hemorrhoids..if that is possible :)

Mr. Monastyrsky explains why athletes can often have more stomach issues simply not understanding how things work with a body that is more fit and stronger

We also discuss classic High Blood pressure and why it is not helped by drinking more water that is often advised.

How many carbs do we need per day and how much urine output is normal?

Here are some questions asked and answered:
does not having enough water cause people to pass out when having blood drawn or donating blood or is it something else
Atom writes in: In 1998, Dr. Fereydoon Batmanghelidj (1931-2004), author of Your Body’s Many Cries for Water, told me I would be dead in one year because I didn’t drink any plain water.
As you were speaking of men getting up a number of times in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, are you saying that number should be -0-, even with the prostate issues that come with age?

In regards to water what is your opinion on distilled water?

I’ve always known that the guidelines for drinking lots of water for health was a myth. I never drink water, I’m 70 years old. I have tried the myth, and I can tell you it is nonsense the idea that if you keep drinking it, then you will stop going to the bathroom as often. Firstly it defies logic, secondly your body unless you are so dehydrated as to be needing water then you must be a very sick person.
Third I follow a vegan diet and I get all my water(distilled) from vegetables. Fourth people who follow this nonsense are no more healthy than the next man. if they were then they would lengthen their lifespan. My grandmother lived to 102 and didn’t drink a lot of water, in fact she drank a bottle of stout a day and that was it.
