No Choice For Salt?

BIG SISTER wants you reamed, steamed, and dry-cleaned.
The Nanny State’s Salt and Sugar Police are down on the case.
The Food and Drug Administration wants to take your salt away.
<>
According to the Oxford English Dictionary, one meaning of salt is …
“that which gives liveliness, freshness, or piquancy to a person’s character, life, etc.â€
Who made the FDA the center of the universe?
<>
Laura Reiley (“Pizza pockets and late-night fries: How the government is urging food companies and restaurants to reduce our salt consumption,” The Washington Post, Oct. 13, 2021) wrote …
“Health advocates are pushing the FDA to strengthen these voluntary goals and make them mandatory, and to go even further by requiring new warning labels that would flag excessive sodium in processed food.”
(The word “mandatory” makes bureaucrats drool on their fangs.)
“The FDA has taken aim at hundreds of categories of processed, packaged and prepared foods, with the goal of reducing Americans’ salt consumption to about 3,000 milligrams, still way higher than organizations like the American Heart Association recommend.”
(The American Heart Association? Aren’t those the crap-heads who told us cholesterol was “bad” for us, and still tell us omega 3 fatty acids are “good” for us?)
“‘The only way to make a meaningful reduction is by changing the food supply,’ [Donald] Lloyd-Jones [chair of the department of preventive medicine at Northwestern University and president of the American Heart Association] said. ‘This isn’t about asking people to make individual choices.'”
(Isn’t the power of choice “God’s gift”? Not if you’re a government bureaucrat.)

According to Adano Ley (Swami Nitty-Gritty) …
“Fit For Life will guarantee you only one bowel movement a day. Solar Nutrition guarantees you three.â€

John & Vera Richter were the first people to popularize Solar Nutrition (circadian eating) in the U.S. in the 1910s and 1920s.

My record shoulder stand was one hour and eleven minutes, mostly hands on the sides of my legs.
That was decades ago, and I just started doing them again.
Shoulder stands are ideal for people with displaced organs.

I used to walk on my hands, but I was a wimp — only 50 steps or so.
My goal was a city block or more. Never made it.
Re: Isn’t there a picture of you walking on your hands on your website?
Yep. At the park in Redding, California, in 1969 or 1970.

People who hear the Sound Current can often predict earthquakes.
The “control point†is that flat ski slope just to the rear of the top of the skull.
