OPEN PHONE FRIDAY

with Patrick and Sharon

When Anything Goes…
And Usually Does!!!

Patrick and Sharon talk with listeners, and each other, pondering emailed questions from the audience, taking a look at the latest news, and having a lot of fun. You’re invited to participate; we’d love to hear from you!

Show Highlights:

-John in Santa Rosa wins the tie-dyed T-shirt this week.

-Per Dr. Kelly Brogan, getting off Rx opiates (e.g. oxycontin, percocet, vicodin) can be harder than getting off cocaine or heroin. Some psychoactive drugs, such as opiates and benzodiazepines (valium, xanax, klonopin, ativan) require a 1% taper per month.

-Patrick, Sharon, and a listener share the effects of doing paida lajin – slapping and stretching therapy as advocated by Hongchi Xiao to drive out toxins.

-Patrick talks about wanting to gain weight and the realization he needs to eat more. Eating enough to not have excess stomach acid, but not to feeling full. Hunger feeling is from stomach acid and the body’s signal to eat. If digestive fire is weak, lick some salt and ginger. Need agni (digestive fire) to digest food.

-Listener shares how she felt on antidepressants. Numbed down feeling. Doctors claim SSRIs (Prozac, Celexa, Paxil, Zoloft, Lexapro) are not addictive. Cause of depression – chemical imbalance in brain or reaction to life events? Patrick’s explanation: the mind can change serotonin or dopamine levels, and the brain gets out of whack when we get out of balance in the mental and spiritual planes.

-Playing Mr. Wizard. While in his studio with the radio equipment, using a Fluke 189 multimeter, Patrick measures the millivolts of the studio, of his body when touching a ground, of his body with a CFL on and off, and with an incandescent light on and off. The studio equipment and incandescent light is not a problem – only .52 mv. His body read 14 mv when 1 inch away from the CFL. 18 mv of body current causes cancer.

-Standing on aluminum foil for 1 minute before going to bed to discharge current in the body.

-Listener loves the Andreas seed oils. Asks about using turpentine and castor oil. Using sea salt to increase Ormus of castor oil. Mellowing effect of grains. Dextrinized baked potatoes – 400 degrees at 90 minutes.

-Ozonated castor oil is available from Phil Thomas at Iodine Source.

-In a Mr. Wizard clip, he fills a glass up with ice cubes and water to the very top. Water level stayed the same when the ice melted. Patrick says this disproves Al Gore’s conjecture that global warming would cause flooding in low level areas from ice melting.

-Kyle Ann from north Michigan wins the T-shirt drawing this week. Send in your size and address please.

and so much more!

technically the ice referred to is on land and not floating as in Mr Wizzard so it should raise levels a little?
