Bodybuilders prefer free form amino acids because they’re more easily assimilated than peptides or bound protein. Most bodybuilders don’t know free form amino acids are in fruit. They buy expensive injectable-grade free form amino acids manufactured by chemical companies in Germany or Japan. I sold them to bodybuilders when I managed a health food store in Portland, Oregon.
