Hi Holly,
I’m glad you enjoyed reading the blog. I haven’t added anything the past few days, but I’m going to have our web technician add a blog space for me somewhere on the website and I’ll get them reposted. I’ve been in a quiet mode lately just trying to get back into work and getting caught up with life. Thanks for writing. Cheers, Sharon

I just wanted to say that I also said no to the hydro company when they came to install the meter. I didn’t know anything about the negative aspects of the meter until later, but instinctively felt that it was rather suspicious at the time. They sent me a registered letter in the mail and it was the most vindictive letter I have ever read, I was really amazed at their threats to turn off the power to my house. The letter sent chills down my spine when I read it. I basically says “How dare you say ‘no’ to us! We’ll fix you!” I can relate to Sharon when she said “Am I the only one in Cincinnati?” (I live in southern Ontario, Canada). I was the only parent who questioned and refused the Hep B vaccine for my grade 7 kids. I was amazed. It is the result of our conditioning not to question authority figures from the time we go to school and church. That’s what I suspect, then the media, social conditioning to conform, etc. Way to go Sharon, I’m behind her 100% and love your show Patrick! You give me strength to continue against the barrage. We need each other at this time to stand together. Thanks so much for your show. PS I’m going to order the sauna.

Hi Mary,
Yes indeed, it’s pretty astounding how nothing is ever
questioned. I am not surprised about you being the only mom refusing the Hep B vaccine, not at all. Back in 2010, when there was so much hype here about H1N1, we were HIGHLY encouraged to have our children vaccinated in my childs school. They even brought the vaccine to the school. I believe it was only my daughter and 2 others in her class who didn’t get it. Then you have to deal with questions from your own child like “Why do you want me to get sick mom?” The deprogramming begins. Thanks for writing Mary. I love having connections with women who think for themselves. It’s so cool! Cheers, Sharon

Way to go, Sharon! Congratulations. I admire your refusal to “stand down”, as well as your beautiful and poised demeanor while doing the tv interview. My feeling about dealing with corpamerica is to simply not deal with them as much as possible, as you’ll be doing by going off the grid. I’m involved in getting a new coop up and running in my area and my foremost motivation is to keep our dollars out of the corporations pockets, and instead recycled through our local friends and neighbors. Fresh organic local food is a close second. So here’s to people taking back their power and “dropping out”!

I agree Donna, so that’s what I’ll do. It’s important to just get out of the relationship. Like Patrick said, there’s power in surrender. So I’ve surrendered until I get off the grid. It feels good to know there’s a plan. Sounds like you’re on the right track with not feeding more dollars to the monster. That’s the real key isn’t it! If we don’t like the business practices of these corporate giants, then we just need to discontinue our relationships with them. I appreciate everyones input and support. Cheers, Sharon

Sharon, thanks for the reply. I am long time listener and big promoter of this site!! Where is your blog, I was sharing your info but now can’t find the posts anywhere. It’s ok if you have not updated but I did not get to read the last post and wanted to read it. It does not show up in the blog menu on front banner. I don’t think you understand the statement you are making for some women whom are usually the ones that will have to face the meter man or installer. I have had one of those smart meters for over a year and never even knew it was installed. I am the stay at home mom that see’s it all on my block and not sure how they acomplished this. I know it was mentioned in the mail/bill as a stuffer but I remember tossing it away at the time because it was not front & center subject at the time.
I am proud that you are using your voice & experience to help others wake up. I’m in Houston and after Ike hit we lived very similar for 14 days on a generator. But I could not use the washing machine and vacuum etc after I keep tripping the breaker using too much juice. So I learned a little from that experience too.
You are doing a great job and I know Patrick is loving all the help. I used to call him a one man band.
Glad I won’t have to use that term anymore. Love & light to you & family.

Sharon, Patrick.
Here is a letter I copied and pasted from, well I can’t quite remember right now. But so far so good. Every household around has one, but not I…for now(over a year). They…BC Hydro call often, we never answer. That is key, let them send a legal letter.
Cheers, S

NOTICE OF NO CONSENT TO TRESPASS AND SURVEILLANCE, NOTICE OF LIABILITY
Dear Mr. Cobb, BC Hydro and all agents, officers, employees, contractors and interested parties.
If you intend to install a “Smart Meter” or any activity monitoring device at ______________________ BC, you and all other parties are hereby denied consent for installation and use of all such devices on the above property. Installation and use of any activity monitoring device is hereby refused and prohibited. Informed consent is legally required for installation of any surveillance device and any device that will collect and transmit private and personal data to undisclosed and unauthorized parties for undisclosed and unauthorized purposes. Authorization for sharing of personal and private information may only be given by the originator and subject of that information. That authorization is hereby denied and refused with regard to the above property and all its occupants. “Smart Meters” violate the law and cause endangerment to residents by the following factors:
1. They individually identify electrical devices inside the home and record when they are operated causing invasion of privacy.
2. They monitor household activity and occupancy in violation of rights and domestic security.
3. They transmit wireless signals which may be intercepted by unauthorized and unknown parties. Those signals can be used to monitor behavior and occupancy and they can be used by criminals to aid criminal activity against the occupants.
4. Data about occupant’s daily habits and activities are collected, recorded and stored in permanent databases which are accessed by parties not authorized or invited to know and share that private data by those who’s activities were recorded.
5. Those with access to the smart meter databases can review a permanent history of household activities complete with calendar and time-of-day metrics to gain a highly invasive and detailed view of the lives of the occupants.
6. Those databases may be shared with, or fall into the hands of criminals, blackmailers, corrupt law enforcement, private hackers of wireless transmissions, power company employees, and other unidentified parties who may act against the interests of the occupants under metered surveillance.
7. “Smart Meters” are, by definition, surveillance devices which violate Federal and State wiretapping laws by recording and storing databases of private and personal activities and behaviors without the consent or knowledge of those people who are monitored.
8. It is possible for example, with analysis of certain “Smart Meter” data, for unauthorized and distant parties to determine medical conditions, sexual activities, physical locations of persons within the home, vacancy patterns and personal information and habits of the occupants.
9. Your company has not adequately disclosed the particular recording and transmission capabilities of the smart meter, or the extent of the data that will be recorded, stored and shared, or the purposes to which the data will and will not be put.
I forbid, refuse and deny consent of any installation and use of any monitoring, eavesdropping, and surveillance devices on my property, my place of residence and my place of occupancy. That applies to and includes “Smart Meters” and activity monitoring devices of any and all kinds.
Any attempt to install any such device directed at me, other occupants, my property or residence will constitute trespass, stalking, wiretapping and unlawful surveillance and endangerment of health and safety, all prohibited and punishable by law through criminal and civil complaints.
All persons, government agencies and private organizations responsible for installing or operating monitoring devices directed at or recording my activities, which I have not specifically authorized in writing, will be fully liable for any violations, intrusions, harm or negative consequences caused or made possible by those devices whether those negative consequences are justified by “law”.
This is legal notice. After this delivery the liabilities listed above may not be denied or avoided by parties named and implied in this notice. Notice to principal is notice to agent and notice to agent is notice to principal.
