Hi,
I have a question regarding mineral supplements. Is it true that inorganic mineral supplements are not bsorbed by the human body? I was told that inorganic minerals can be absorbed only through hyphae or roots of the plants by Dr.Thiel. His website is http://www.doctorsresearch.com.
He mentioned man cannot convert inorganic minerals into organic minerals to assimilate it.
I am worried because I have been taking magnesium citrate qnd magnesium chloride and MSM for years.
He mention thwt it may leave unwanted unabsorbed residues in th body which might cause too many problems later in the years .
He suggests only food based mineral supplements.
Inam confused qbout this.
I will really appreciate if you please take a few minutes to clarify this.
Thanks much for your help in advance.
With best regards,
Baskaran

Hi Baskaran
My understanding is that MSM is an organic mineral and the main issue is quality, avoid synthetic MSM which is usually from China and stick with very pure stuff from pine trees.
Re: magnesium, these 2 forms appear to be inorganic and I believe it’s very hard to raise your magnesium levels with internal supplementation anyway but I have had great results with the external application of diluted magnesium chloride ie magnesium ‘oil’.
Dr Thief is right re: food based supplements, I avoid synthetic vitamins with the exception of occasional use of Ascorbic Acid/sodium ascorbate from a non gmo source (my brand is called Nutribiotic)
Don’t worry about it just change to external magnesium and pure MSM, so safe!!
With love S.
