THE MORNING SHOW

OPEN PHONES

We only had one guest today, who was quite fascinating, so we did about 40 minutes of open phones and emails.

Patrick issued an apology to our listeners for his not so graceful conduct with Tony Pantalleresco yesterday. We’re in a body on Planet Earth and it’s easy to act like a stupid human at times. And when the idealist meets with a realist, well then, you can figure out the chemistry. A nice lesson to ‘learn detachment’.

On the other hand, Robert called in from Houston, with a nice take on things.

So the big question we’re trying to answer is: Is organic produce irradiated before it gets to the grocery store? If anyone has a concrete answer, will you please leave it in the comments section. Producer Sharon is guessing ‘yes’ which is why farmers markets are the safest bet for clean unadulterated produce.

The next question is: How much power do our thoughts have over our body and environment? We’d love to know your thoughts.

Thanks for listening!

Trader Joe’s in Wayne,NJ assured me their produce is not irradiated, they said nothing in their stores would ever be … this was some time in the past year.

Continue to work on the power of thought and emotion … as with everything else, it’s a process and takes effort ….. but I find positive results … seems you just keep working at it and life keeps getting better and better … then you notice things didn’t go the way you had hoped but amazingly you are where you wanted to be …

Meeting Andy and learning of your radio show … talk about blessings … they have been raining down on me ever since … the education alone ……. one day I hope to meet you … as I am filled with gratitude for your spiritual lessons and all your other lessons (love the way you think) … the effect on my life has been profound … many thanks

Here is the test I do to see about the irradiated produce…Just sit it out on your counter and if it doesn’t rot then you know it’s been irradiated. I know that almost everything I’ve gotten from Whole Foods across 2 states now -even though it is organic, has been irradiated. I have sliced open pears and left them on the counter – they NEVER turn brown. they don’t rot! Same thing with peppers and most apples. Same for tomatoes although they might be GM? All I know is fresh food left out on a counter will turn brown and rot within a few days. Sliced apples should turn brown in a few hours. But, not most of the grocery store stuff. What has happened to our food?!

High quality produce with a high brix reading will not decay at all for years.Dont use presumptions to judge truth or reality.Organic food despite the hype is more often not better than conventional. Mineral levels are what matters they are the basic building blocks of proteins hormones and vitamins. All energy comes from elements and mineral resistance is what gives it to us.The fact is you cant be sure anything is quality unless you know what decides quality and you can test and see the growers adherance to these principles.Organic is a marketing term when it comes to food labeling and unfortunately Whole Foods and Trader Joes are marketing companies that sell food. This doesn’t mean they are lying it just means if you were to bet that lies would be the safe bet
