Maximizing Melatonin with Low Blue Lights
Your body produces the important hormone melatonin, the so-called sleep hormone. Increasing your body’s melatonin production can improve your sleep. Melatonin is produced by your pineal gland, normally only when you are in darkness. Using artificial light in the evening before going to bed shuts down melatonin production. Blue rays in ordinary light are the problem Only the blue component of light shuts down melatonin production.

Delighted to hear Dr. Hansler on this show, bringing his vitally important health information to this audience.
Most helpful to my sleep and well-being are the Glasses (I find the fitovers more comfortable) and the indispensable little Nightlight.
The Glasses cut out blue light, and this gets my melatonin production started 2-3 hours before actually going to bed.
And the Nightlight prevents any interruption of melatonin during a nighttime trip to the bathroom.
This great scientist is devoting his talent and expertise late in life to the betterment of mankind.
