Early Morning Report April-May 2020 Newsletter by Richard Maybury
President of Henry Madison Research, Inc., Mr. Maybury is a world-renowned author, lecturer and analyst who consults with business firms and individuals in the U.S. and Europe.
Mr. Maybury is often compared to General Billy Mitchell. You may remember that Mitchell foretold the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor; he was one of those rare individuals with the amazing knack for seeing through the “conventional wisdom†and political smoke screens, to spot crucial new trends – the kind that catch most other experts by surprise.
Throughout the 1990s, Mr. Maybury warned about a coming world war between Washington and Muslims, but few listened, just as few listened to Mitchell.
Ever since 9-11, thousands have been hanging on Mr. Maybury’s every word. Subscribers who have been taking his advice — to invest in things that do well in wartime — have been reaping astounding profits.
Mr. Maybury calls his viewpoint “Juris Naturalism,†which means the belief in a natural law that is higher than any government’s law. This, incidentally, was also the philosophy of Thomas Jefferson, George Washington and the other American founders.
“Let me be very clear about this,†Mr. Maybury states. “I’m proud of my viewpoint and do not try to hide it behind a smokescreen of phony objectivity. I believe political power is the most evil thing humans ever discovered. It corrupts the morals and the judgment.â€
Mr. Maybury has written 22 books and monographs, including his Uncle Eric series of books, which focus on economics, law and history. He has been interviewed on more than 250 radio and TV shows across America, on topics ranging from monetary policy, investments and business cycles to the geopolitics of the Mideast oil region and former Soviet Union, as well as U.S. foreign policy.
In the realm of geopolitics, Mr. Maybury’s insights come not only from a great deal of education, both formal and self-taught, but also from hard experience. During the Vietnam War, he was in the Air Force’s 605th Air Commando Squadron, a special operations unit involved in covert warfare in Central and South America. He was a crewmember on AC-47 gunships, and C-46, C-47 and C-141 transport planes, and helped train scores of the CIA’s foreign troops from the notorious School of the Americas. He learned firsthand the truth of Senator Hiram Johnson’s remark that the first casualty when war comes is truth.
It is this unusually broad and deep “real world†background that enables Mr. Maybury to see, like Billy Mitchell, just a little bit more clearly than others. It led best-selling investment author Harry Browne to say, “I was in the financial newsletter business for 24 years, and I still know a lot of people in the business, and I don’t know anybody who is as universally respected by his fellow newsletter writers as Richard Maybury is. There is so much competition, and even antagonisms in that business, but Maybury seems to stand apart from all of them.â€

This guy is fooling himself if he thinks he is not contributing to war by buying those stocks. When you buy those stocks, you are giving those companies money to make weapons. Good luck with that karma. It’s amazing how people can try to justify things in their own minds.

Investing in war is investing in the death and destruction of people/children/the planet. His excuses and lack of conscience, as that of countless others, is pathetic and why this world is where it is today. The almighty dollar above all else!

The world is overrun with criminals and tyrants who want to hurt you and your loved ones. Perhaps the most important question you can ask about yourself is, am I a pacifist? If the answer is yes — if, in case of attack, you plan to stand by and do nothing — then I suppose you have that right (although I wonder what your loved ones think of you). But there are those of us who are not pacifists, which means we need weapons. So what’s wrong with investing in them?

I posted a comment very similar to Donna’s above, but I guess the moderator did not approve it…If this one does not get approved, I’m going to start my own comment forum for one radio network, one that is not censored. Richard, the weapons being manufactured are largely being used to murder people in their own countries, rather than used to defend the U.S. Labeling someone a pacifist because they don’t invest in the military industrial complex? I think that’s called a straw man argument, or very similar to one.

Thank you Richard for your guidance. your perspective has been helpful to me for the last 21 years. It is so great to cut through the panic and distractions in the media and get to the real issues and opportunities out there.

Listen to the podcast – he explains he isn’t doing anything that causes a war, much like a hurricane happens and that doesn’t mean investing in a lumbar yard causes the hurricane.

Richard Maybury cited incorrectly the website for his own book and course on ethics. The website is NOT a dot com webpage; it is dot net. http://www.ethicssolution.net

Hi Patrick,
I am from Norway and I found your website and radio program in the latest newsletter of Richard Maybury which I have subscribed to for many years. You have an excellent program. Interesting and comfortable to listen to. I was very surprised when you were discussing the 17 words and you referred to Harold Klemp and Eckankar. I have also been a member of Eckankar for many years, and I remember very well when Harold introduced these 17 words to ECKists. He also recommended Maybury’s book Whatever Happened to Justice as far as I remember. I will continue listening to your programs in the future.

Today is July 18th and I just found this website and Mr Maybury’s talk. I truly respect him, and I am a strong follower of the two laws you offered the world a while back. I am also a follower of Eckankar and its teachings (where I first heard about the two laws). If people would observe them, earth would be a nicer place to live in, for sure!
I am also an investor, but to be truthful, I don’t follow Maybury’s advices as I am not investing in armament or cigarette maker companies (including cannabis). I simply don’t believe in their legitimacy. One point you said is that all this “Covid-19” things are blown up by media and the government. In hindsight (remember today is July 18th), I can say that you “prediction” was a bit off-track. Simply look at the “state of the States”, it’s horrible the way Americans are managing this whole thing. California is going back into confinement, and we’re only in the first wave (according to Mr Fauci.) My own “prediction” is that we won’t find a suitable vaccine until next Spring and in the meantime the economy will be tough on many low income families. Moreover, the November election should bring back the Democrats on top, meaning more taxes for everyone and less profit and earnings. The huge American debt will have to be repaid one of these days. Democrats will raise taxes, which will bring inflation. I know it’s not a rosy picture, yet I am optimist since all of this will bring a paradigm shift in our American way of thinking.
I call the period we are living in a “Spiritual Wake-up Call!” What is the purpose of life? Why are we here? Where are we going? For me, Eckankar offers many answers to those questions. Each one is free to observe them or not. That’s why it’s called The Path of Spiritual Freedom!
One suggestion to Mr. Maybury: Could you offer your book “Whatever Happened to Justice?” on a donation basis. That way more people would have the chance to read it. In fact, it should be taught in every school on the planet! Indeed, it’s that good!
