The current buzz in science magazines is about krill oil decreasing the liver’s lipogenesis – the metabolic formation of fat – more effectively than fish oil … but only for 6 weeks.

Scientists don’t know why the effect “times out” … because they have medical amnesia.

Over 60 years ago, Emanuel Revici, M.D., described the ADRENAL DEFENSE MECHANISM that counteracts fatty acids.

According to him (Research in Physiopathology As Basis of Guided Chemotherapy: With Special Application to Cancer, 1961) …

“With small amounts of radiation separated by long intervals, the intervention of the adrenals, as long as they function normally, can overcome the effects of the fatty acids [both the abnormal ones created by the radiation itself and/or the fatty acids used as supplements]. With higher doses applied more often, the fate of the irradiated individual depends on whatever antagonistic factor predominates. With high doses or with a relative adrenal insufficiency, the direct effect of the abnormal fatty acids can become prominent. In that case, the type D offbalance will be more pronounced. It is in such offbalance that subjects die from too intensive radiation. These factors can be of major significance in the intervention against accidental radiation as well as in guiding the therapeutic use of radiation.”

Moral of the story: AVOID fish oil, krill oil, cod liver oil, etc. when exposed to radiation.

Here’s another case of medical amnesia.

According to “Switching off oxygen to zap cancer,” Science News, Aug. 21, 1976 …

“The normal amount of oxygen in healthy cells doubles or triples the effects of gamma rays, X-rays and other ionizing radiation compared with the effects seen after irradiation in poor oxygen conditions. In contrast, cancer cells do not contain as much oxygen, so radiation treatment is more likely to hurt healthy cells than cancerous ones.”

Dr. Revici approached this scenario IN REVERSE – he added oxygen to cancer cells rather than “switching off” the oxygen to healthy cells.

He did this simply by making the body more alkaline – CAREFULLY because cancer grows in an acidic environment but metastasizes in an alkaline one.

    Hi Atom :)

Given what I’ve heard you say about the time of our birth causing a constriction on its associated organ meridian (and a corresponding over-compensation of energy into the opposite meridian – am I correct here?), I am guessing that since my time of birth is 12:36pm, I had a constriction in the heart meridian, and a corresponding “inflation” of energy into the gall bladder meridian?

I’m curious, what would be the potential symptoms of such a birth time? Emotionally – a potential for heartache in the heart (and perhaps an over-tendency to gall from the gall-bladder)? What about physically? I intuit the benefits of a gall bladder cleanse.

    Thankyou!
    Thomas

    Hi Atom,

Just a kind reminder to discuss Pre-Heaven Qi and Post-Heaven Qi as previously promised.

    Thank you so much

Yes, organ times work by constriction-dilation.

At 4:00 am, the Lung Meridian is supposed to be at its maximum dilation and the Bladder Meridian at its maximum constriction.

Birth at 4:00 am constricts the Lung Meridian, with a compensatory dilation of the Bladder Meridian.

If you squeeze one end of a balloon, the other end dilates.

“Matters of the heart” are associated with the Heart Meridian.

A 12:36 pm birth puts pressure on the Kidney, Gall Bladder, and Large Intestine meridians – the pressure being mostly played out by the time it reaches the Large Intestine Meridian.

“Matters of the heart” are addressed through courage (called “heart”), controlled rage (called “a rage to live”), and audacity (called “gall”).

Controlled rage helps the kidneys generate Qi – they’re sodium pumps in the fashion of an electric eel.

It takes “heart” to belch” and “gall” to fart. :)

    PS from Atom …

Swami Nitty-Gritty said, “Radioactivity is toxic hydrogen. The best combination for radiation burns is barley and miso.”
