Re: What is the best source and time for food B12? Other than Cobalamin coffee, as this question is for a child.

People most susceptible to vitamin B12 deficiency include …

(1) vegans,

(2) those who take stomach drugs,

(3) those with insufficient saliva,

(4) those who abuse potassium supplements,

(5) those who eat too much pectin (or take it as a supplement),

(6) those who eat “junk food,”

(7) those who prematurely age themselves by eating “out of time,” etc.

Contrary to Old Scientists’ Tales, a vegan can obtain bioavailable vitamin B12 from plant sources.

But, unless vegans really know what they are doing, they pay a high price for abstaining from animal products.

Their babies often pay a higher price.

Organic vegetables grown in cow manure contain trace amounts of bioavailable vitamin B12.

They seem to have the ability to incorporate vitamin B12 from the organic fertilizer.

Some edible algaes contain bioavailable vitamin B12.

Chlorella and nori (both green and purple) do.

Blue-green algae does not.

The jury is still out on spirulina. Some tests show that spiulina’s two types of pseudovitamin B12 interfere with vitamin B12 metabolism.

Mushrooms contain bioavailable vitamin B12.

So does black tea. Oolong and green tea do not.

Bamboo shoots contain trace amounts of bioavailable vitamin B12.

A vegan taking stomach drugs might be wise to consider vitamin B12 supplementation.

A vegan practicing Mouth Cavity Yoga can absorb and assimilate extra vitamin B12 – perhaps a lot more.

Horace Fletcher (1849-1919) was known as “The Great Masticator,” and advised chewing each mouthful of food at least 32 times.

That’s not enough for Mouth Cavity Yoga.

Chewing your food a minimum of 100 times ensures optimum vitamin B12 absorption.

This allows HAPTOCORRIN to protect vitamin B12 from its acid bath on its journey through the stomach.

Did you know that standing on your head can help you absorb additional vitamin B12?

Does anyone know why?

Hi Atom – any new info on spirulina? “The jury is still out on spirulina. Some tests show that spiulina’s two types of pseudovitamin B12 interfere with vitamin B12 metabolism.”

      Is there a better type?

      Regards,
      Eric

Spirulina is a potent cancer-killer. It’s just not a reliable source of B-12.

Other algaes can’t hold a candle to spirulina.

Extended space travel without spirulina is almost unthinkable.

Re: Have you heard of people drinking their own saliva?

Saliva is the source of HSEGF (human salivary epidermal growth factor).

    Can’t thank you enough Atom.

What about folate and those of us with MTFHR gene mutation?

    Lot of love & Blessings

Someone being told they have an MTFHR syndrome is like someone being told they can’t get from point A to point B in a city because one highway has been closed for repair.

Riboflavin can substitute for vitamin B12 in a pinch.

It can do the same for folic acid.

The optimum Mouth Yoga temperature for vitamin B12 is 112 degrees Fahrenheit.

It’s optimum pH value is 7.

Can you please dedicate some of next month’s show for the MTFHR mutation, what it really means and what can be done about it?
You’re giving me a lot of hope after doctors making it sound like we cannot methylate, cannot detox, need zinc and b6, b12, special form of folic acid, and …. etc for the rest of our lives!
    Much love, blessings and appreciation.

Establishment Medicine is fond of making such absolutist pronouncements to DISEMPOWER THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

The multi-billion-dollar supplement industry is covertly controlled by the pharmaceutical industry, a cog in the wheel of what Ralph Metzer correctly labels the global Military-Industrial-Medical-Prison Complex.

Supplements versus Drugs is a salient example of an “opposame,” two entities that are the same, although seemingly different – unless you’re one of the top tenth of the top one percent who run our planet.

Supplements “cause” more diseases than they “cure.”

I call Big Pharma “Dr. Evil,” and Big Suppla “Mini-Me.”

Less than 1% of drugs are semi-legitimate, and the same goes for supplements.

Right use of our MIND plus right use of our FOOD (including air, water, and vitality of the spirit) are the twin pillars of high-level wellness.

I started taking b12 injections specifically because of the poor absorbtion rates via the stomach (as this article mentions). I have an otherwise healthy diet but was still suffering from b12 deficiency so the doctor prescribed b12 injections for increased weight loss.

Activating the fundus of the stomach is important.

      Etc.

  7. April 17, 2013 @ 6:26 am Helen

Forgive my ignorance Atom (The Great)
What is the fundus? and how does one activate that?

Can you also please elaborate on the Etc. or you can refer us to ‘some page numbers’ in your book. I have many of them, but the information goes over my head and the duct tape …well….

    Much love & appreciation
    Helen

The fundus is the upper portion of the stomach.

It contains the cells responsible for releasing gastric acid and intrinsic factor.

Like James Bonds’ martini, the fundus is best “shaken, not stirred,” to activate it.

Jumping on a mini-trampoline is one way to do this.

      Etc. includes …

      (8) those not having regular bowel movements.

      (9) those having no ilium due to surgery.

      (10) those taking oral contraceptives.

      (11) those drinking water out of plastic bottles.

      (12) those taking diuretics.

      (13) those experiencing stress (more correctly, distress).

      (14) those taking aspirin.

      (15) those taking antibiotics.

      (16) those overfeeding on vitamins and minerals, etc.

    Gene …

If you’re under 30 revolutions around the Sun, it’s a minor challenge working a night shift.

It’s more important to pay attention to circadian rhythms after 30.
