Atom Bergstrom, born Gosta Ingvar Bergstrom, Jr, is credited as the founder of Sun Sync and the leading expert on a Sun-Centric lifestyle.

Atom’s journey towards health, nutrition, longevity, and meditation goes back to 1955, when he first started reading books by D.C. Jarvis, J.I. Rodale, Carlton Fredericks, Adelle Davis, Aldous Huxley, Paramahansa Yogananda, Swami Prabhavananda, and numerous others. His exposure to the above mentioned authors instigated a deep desire and passion to understand and unlock the secrets to optimal human wellness and longevity.

Atom was inspired by the words of Thomas Jefferson: “School teaches all of the branches, but none of the roots.” He sought the answers to his questions, not in classrooms, but in books, relationships, and life experiences. His quest for true knowledge and wisdom began by studying in hundreds of libraries across the country and evolved by studying with teachers and masters including Swami Adano Ley, Sufi Adnan Sarhan, Rabbi Michael Shapiro, Taoist Master Yun Xiang Tseng, and Fitness Icon Gypsy Boots.

His most significant teacher was Swami Adano Ley with whom he spent 14 years. During this time, he studied a variety of sciences extensively, including the sun centric lifestyle, and ultimately graduated from Adano Ley’s Texas Institute of Reflex Sciences. The knowledge and wisdom he gained studying under a highly evolved swami combined with his emphasis on scientific research & personal experience would soon become the heartbeat of Sun Sync Nutrition.

For the past 40 years, Atom has dedicated his life to the continuous learning and teaching of Sun Sync Nutrition, Time Conscious Eating, Cosmo-Chemistry, Reflexology, Muscle Response Testing, Body Language Analysis, Iris Analysis, Lucid Dreaming, Meditation and many other sciences.

Show Highlights:

 

-What is chronobiotic nutrition?  Our bodies are like a rain forest with a canopy corresponding to our head, an underbrush that corresponds to the area between  the chest and pelvis, including the gut, and a forest floor and subfloor, corresponding to  large intestine and bottom of small intestine, including the microbiome.

-Eat food from trees in morning, from shrub or vine in middle of day, and mushroom, root or fish in evening.  Fall of man co-evolved with grass.  Bamboo left forest where it was 9 ft. tall and went down in size.

-Psychedelics correspond with lower consciousness.  The brain is activated by nuts, e.g. coconut and pine nut, which are tall.  These resonate with the pineal gland, which is a dusk detector.

-The sun hits the trees at a certain angle and then lowers.  Only 5% of sun gets to the underbrush and only 2% gets to the forest floor.  The time of exposure to sun determines when we should eat each zone of food, i.e. whether it’s a morning, mid-day, or evening food.

-Rice has 50,000 genes, we have 29,000.  Gene level is more profitable than the enzyme level, which is what used to be the center of focus;  can patent genes.

-The life force of morning energy hits trees.  Specific solar times for each organ.  Steak eats grass and shrubs, so  time for a steak is mid-day.  Resonance of digestion hits 7-9 pm, later for liver.

-Wild meat and fish take 1 hour for the body to process.  Domesticated beef and pork takes 4 hours.

-New drugs are more toxic than mercury, lead, or cadmium.  “They” can kill people by the thousands with no repercussions.  Death by drugs would rank as number one killer if they included death by a thousand cuts.

-Daniel asks about bitter aloe ferox and bitter herbs in general.  Bitter is 1 of 5 tastes in Chinese medicine, aligned with the 5th chakra in the head.  Chakras in ascendant order from 1 to 5 are sweet, salty, pungent, sour, bitter.  Bitters are good for simulating the liver.

-Pineal gland uses calcite, which can split a light ray in two.  Controls light and gravity or equilibrium.

-Just because we have DNA doesn’t mean we are DNA.

-Juan asks about the emotional traumas and physical issues behind having gas at every meal, after trying many different diets.  Every trauma causes gas, need to find out where it’s coming from.  Go through the colors.  Yawn and stretch a lot.  Learn body dowsing to learn where your trauma comes from.   Different types of trauma.

-Is aluminum in bentonite clay an issue?  Yes.  If you aren’t toxic and don’t need bentonite, Atom doesn’t recommend it.  Sometimes easier to get rid of the poison and clean up the aluminum afterwards.  The better your digestion, the more aluminum you absorb.

-Nature’s Pure Organics is calcium montmorillonite bentonite clay.

-Hydrogen peroxide doesn’t work as well as they say it does.  Good for external cuts.  Castor oil always causes internal bleeding, but the tradeoffs can be worth it.  Castor oil pack is great.  Edgar Cayce and the Palma Christi book talks about straightening out a spine with castor oil.

-David says Donna Gates of Body Ecology advocates high colonic procedures to get rid of parasites and worms.  She says all meat-eaters and even vegans have them.  Atom says the problem is higher up, even in the tongue, and colonics can’t reach the tongue.  Better to work on immunity.  Don’t starve candida but give it sugar so it doesn’t get mad, create tendrils, and eat your body.

-Cooked medicinal mushrooms, a zone 3 food, are a great food for treating candida.  Good for reproductive tracts – they look like penises.

-Main trauma in handling dogs is that we anthropomorphize them.  We tend to substitute the pet for someone else.

-Marlene asks about grief after separation from her cat.  Grief issues are lung issues.  Yawn, stretch.  Do thumb wrestling.   Sweet fruits that grow on the tree are good for dealing with grief, also pine nuts, walnuts, & almonds help.  Cry and laugh, watch movies where you’re crying for joy,  e.g. Grand Canyon.  Strengthen the lung meridian.

-Jo asks about nanos in fruits and vegetables, whether we need to avoid all but root vegetables.  Give the body good food, it will throw the other food out as garbage.  Horizon milk and Walmart organic food – questionable organic.

-Lynn asks, How does lemon juice affect tooth enamel?   Acids generally erode the teeth.  Lemon juice, if you don’t hold it too long, will kill the acid-forming bacteria in the mouth.  Gets alkaline once it hits the stomach.  Don’t combine lemon juice with a protein because citrus becomes alkaline in the stomach and alkalizes stomach acid.  Lemon juice will kill candida in 3 applications.

-Best way to remineralize teeth? Kidneys control distribution of calcium in body.  At solar 6:15 pm, kidney time:  Take sharp cheddar, swiss, or Monterey jack, combine with a clove of garlic, red onion, hold in mouth as long as you can, don’t rinse for an hour.  Can rub aloe on gums to keep them from burning.  Benefit is from vapors of fluorine from garlic and chlorine from onion.  Fluorine and chlorine used in making pyrex glass.  Apply regularly on a consistent basis.

-TM meditation saved Atom.  He had to give up drugs and alcohol to do TM.  Atom Ley and solar nutrition helped rejuvenate his body.

-Listener asks about erectile dysfunction in her healthy husband who eats good diet, good fats, pine pollen.  Could be PUFAS, UFAs, nitric oxide.  Nitric oxide expands blood vessels only locally, is an irritant and dangerous.  Estrogen-forming foods bad.  Coconut Oil is excellent.  Take an orange at spleen pancreas time 9-11 am solar time.  Liver impt too.  Work on pericardium 7-9pm, impt for erection.  Shunts to liver, the stomach, to small intestine and liver 1-3 pm, 1-3 am liver.  Almonds and nuts and fruits are good in the morning.  Something going into the mouth and into the thought process is usually the problem.  Pine Pollen supports fecundity, but not erections.  Keep to coconut oil, eggs, good fats.  Coconut Oil better than palm oil.  Can consult with atom at [email protected].
